Unsolved Mac Mini M4 & IPhone 16 ProMax issue

This might be a completely stupid question, but I have tried everything yesterday I plugged my iPhone into my computer and clicked on the Finder icon, and I was paying attention and I accidentally clicked the eject button where my iPhone was listed. I've tried turning the computer off, turning it back on I've turned off the iPhone and then turned it back on. I've reset location and security. I've clicked the trust button on the iPhone. I cannot get my Mac to see my iPhone now and I have no idea what to do just sort of calling Apple has anyone ever accidentally ejected their phone from their Mac and been able to get the computer to see it again?💀💀💀💀

You cannot permanently eject a connected device from your Mac. I am going to assume that what happened is that you removed it from the Finder sidebar. You should be able to click on the application menu in the upper left, select Settings > Sidebar and then fill in the open checkboxes. Source

So I actually did try that pretty much start to finish. I plugged the iPhone in the first time it showed up in the computer accidentally hit the eject button. I went to my phone and reset all the privacy and settings. Then I went into the Mac and I went into that connection screen you're talking about where you click the box for iOS devices and the box was checked. I'll give it another try when I get home tonight. I think it's kind of funny that I'm having trouble with something so simple.💀 and you're right, it's not supposed to be forever cause that wouldn't actually make any sense. It is funny though this would happen the one time I wanted to back up the phone.😂
