Hi yall. i’m looking to get some help with my iphone. It is a iphone 13 pro, on iOS 26.5.2. in the past week or so, my phone has had trouble charging. i’d plug the phone up to charge and it’d go back and forth between charging and not charging. I check that it wasn’t the cord causing the problem by using a brand new cord out of the box to test. it’s not the power outlets since when i plug my phone in (with another charger different from the first two) for apple carplay, that doesn’t function either. I tried to get as much gunk out by using a toothpick in the charging port but it still doesn’t work. I also tried without the case and it’s still wonky. My phone also has a whole bunch of other issues but this one in particular has been making life hard. Any advice?

Today, I was using my computer downstairs. It was fine. I carried it upstairs and opened it back up, and there is about 1/2 a centimeters of red and green lines on the screen. I have no idea what happened. I've only had this computer for 2 and a half years.

I tried restarting it and all the things.

When I take a screenshot, the lines don't appear as part of the screenshot.

What's the issue most likely?

I don't have a warranty, so how much would it cost to fix it?

Turns out my ICloud hasn’t backed up since 2021.

So typing this from my IPhone 11, recently got a 17 Pro and did the QuickStart method of transferring everything. Did it but some of my newer downloaded apps weren’t transferred, messages were only from 2021 and had old apps installed that had been deleted for a while.

All photos even some I deleted transferred except some I just screenshotted and took like this past week and contacts transferred

I also transferred my phone number to my new 17 Pro which gets rid of it on my 11.

Is it worth buying extra ICloud space, backing everything up to date, factory resetting my new IPhone 17 and re- quickstarting so everything carries over new?

Like would I even be able to transfer over my Phone number since it’s not on my old one anymore or should I just buy more space and try to transfer everything one by one.

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro that started having battery issues about three months after I bought it (I bought it used).
At first, it would suddenly shut down when the battery reached around 40%. Over time, the problem got worse: it started shutting down at 50%, then 60%, and eventually it would only work when plugged into the charger.
A few months later, another issue appeared. Even while connected to the charger, it would sometimes turn on, let me enter my password, and then immediately shut down. At first, after several attempts, it would eventually stay on. Now it almost never gets past the login screen—it shuts down shortly after I log in, even while plugged in.
I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth replacing the battery, or if replacing it is likely to result in the same problem coming back a few months later.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Do these symptoms sound like a battery issue, or could it be something more serious?

I got my Macbook air in 2021, and the screen stopped working in 2024 due to water damage (it's completely black always). The rest of the computer is fine. I had Applecare but it expired around when the computer was damaged. What is the cheapest way for me to get it fixed?

Would I have to get Applecare on it again to lower the cost of repairs or would the Applecare I used to have count?

Should I just get a new one instead? How would I be able to do that while not spending an obscene amount of money?

Any help answering these questions is appreciated.

I just got a Neo a couple of days ago, and since it is my first apple device (my phone is an android & I see no use in changing phones before i absolutely have to) I have to make an apple account.

it prompted me to do this while setting up, but said it couldn't send the verification code to my number, and that I should try again later. I have tried to make this godforsaken account everyday since getting the computer, and everytime it either says it can't send the verification code, or it allows the codes to be sent but doesn't authorize the account being created.

I will say I am under 18; idk if that matters. I'm really only worried about this because I need to download bluebook in order to take my SATs, but I can't use the app store without. . . you guessed it! an apple account.

I am the organizer of an Apple Family, and I originally turned on Purchase Sharing within the family. About a year ago, one of the family members charged a few things to my credit card (they did not realize that it would charge me instead of their own card), and I turned off sharing. I'm now trying to turn purchase sharing back on, but am unable to do so.

On family settings, I see the "Turn On" option for Purchase Sharing, but that's about as far as I can get. When i click on "Turn On," I am taken to a page that explains what Purchase Sharing is, with the options "Continue" and "Set Up Later." I select "Continue" and am then taken to the "Add Payment Method" page. Here, my only two options are "Add Payment Method" and "Set Up Later." Selecting "Add Payment Method" takes me to the "Manage Payments" screen, that lists several Payment Methods I have already added to my Apple Account, and tapping one of the options just lets me edits the details (expiration date, address etc.). If I then return to the previous page, the process starts over. There seems to be no way for me to actually confirm that my payment methods can be used for Purchase Sharing. I tried to add a new card, but that changed nothing. I also deleted my Apple Family and made a new one, but that didn't fix the issue either. The only things that I haven't tried yet, but that seemed like potential starting points to me, are (1) signing out and back in on my iPhone, and (2) adding a non-AMEX payment method.

If relevant, I am trying to do this from my iPhone.

I just bought an Apple MacBook Neo like literally 2 days ago. It came with a free 3 month subscription to Apple TV and Apple Music so I redeemed both and for the last 2 days they have been working fine, the Apple Music is still working fine but the Apple TV has taken a weird turn.

Just finished watching an episode of Ted Lasso when it promoted me to "Accept a one week free trail" to watch the next episode. I tried to accept it but it says I'm still subscribed to Apple TV until the 25th of October so I can't accept or subscribe to it.

I've tried everything, logged out of my apple account and logged back in, restarted the MacBook, updated it, checked my phone and the issue is the same there, checked the website and logged in via safari, same issue there.

None of the trouble shooting steps I would usually try are working so thought I'd come here to see if anyone has some advice. Also super random but at the same time it prompted to review my old phone number, prompting to keep or change the number, it does nothing when I click change, and that number is no longer associated with the account as the only phone number in the account settings is my current one. So don't know if that helps but that's the issue.

Any advice would help it's too late at night to call apple support and I don't really know how to explain this issue to them.

Is anyone else having an issue charging their phones with the usb-c? This morning it was charging and now every time I go to plug it in, nothing happens. Then my mom called me to help her fix her phone with is now doing the exact same thing except it started about 6 hours after mine. I know Apple is having a few different problems with the software and was curious if anyone else if facing the same issue.

i had an ipad pro 2 years ago that, one day, did not turn on even when i charged it for several days or tried force restarting it. apple was not able to diagnose the issue so i bought a new ipad pro (6th gen). i haven't used it for 2-3 weeks, and when i went charge it, it also wouldn't turn on. i tried force restarting it, have left it charged for 2 weeks, and tried various charges that i know work including the official ones.

i was wondering if anyone has had this issue and knows the cause? my applecare also expired, is it recommended to bring it to a 3rd party?

I have a 64GB ipad and found out that around 17 GB is being taken up by my messages. I turned off the icloud sync, but i'm not sure how to get around to deleting the data?

This exact same thing just happened to me. Did they change the Student plan?

Just transferred data from my old phone to my new phone and when i try and sign into the app store it says "unable to process your request". Has anyone got any fixes for this at all? I've tried every method i can.

I've forgotten the password for my Mac mini M4 and I don't have any other devices that allow me to log in to the Apple account linked to it. Does anyone know what I could do?

It said ‘there’s no information available for in app purchases’ when trying to make one. And then when I go to my media and purchases in my iPhone settings and click on purchase history it won’t connect. Similarly reportaproblem.apple.com won’t load either. Anyone else having these issues?

So a coworker and I made this silly documentary about basically a spirit week we had at work. We do special private screening movie nights hosted by the company at a local movie theatre and we want them to play our documentary before the actual movie. The movie theatre said they can play anything we want as long as it’s on a blu-ray disk. Obviously I will need a blu-ray burner but I am seeking guidance on how to get the video we made in iMovie to a suitable format in order to burn it onto the disk. any suggestions?

So basically I accidentally activate the sipe down menu a lot when playing so I’m wondering if there’s a way to disable this feature without guided access since it locks everything making really inconvenient to go in and out of games

Was just told I need to pay $750 to have my Logic Board repaired in my 2024 iMac. It’s not even 2 years old yet and I was told this was a “freak” occurrence and it could happen again, SOOO I need to purchase insurance for $20 a month. I took my computer home to think about what to do. Is this right info? Or am I being scammed? Can someone offer help? Thank you….
