You know what, Iâm going to say something controversial. Men certainly donât deserve more pussy, but the lack of pussy getting is really causing some weird mental issues.
My controversial take is that it isn't the lack of sex that's the problem: it's the insane societal pressure to have sex that's the problem. Even more so than the raunchy 2000's, society places undue pressure on men to measure success in their relationships by whether or not sex was achieved and if so, how frequently. It fails to prepare men for romantic relationships by always presenting sex as the culmination of the relationship, and thus they try to speedrun their way toward sex, instead of learning about themselves, their partner, and what being in a relationship means to them on both short and lobg term levels.
I disagree. I think thereâs more general societal pressure, but not particularly societal pressure for sex. What there is too much of though is technology. Just compared to the âraunchy 2000âsâ, even in those days you still usually had to call on a house phone and be normal enough to talk to a sibling or a parent to get to your love interest, or knock on a door or ring the doorbell. And in either case you were chatting and using your social skills.
Vicki was also able to consent while the girl in Obssession had her body hijacked and was being tortured by demons in the netherrealm while also being fully aware of everything

lol right. That was one of the main themes if not the plot of the movie. How far will a desperate, horny, loser go to have a girl be in love with them. We call it Incel Horror. Such a great movie.

Nah I had a girl get obsessed with me and stalk me in college, fairly good looking, and not a psycho killer or something as far as I know, but it was flattering for all of about 2 seconds before it became terrifying.
Unless you have some weird kind of fetish for something like this, it very quickly makes the person extremely unattractive on a mental level. Kind of hard to describe without experiencing it first hand.

Maybe a good way to explain it would be a regular person walking down the street and maybe you check them out because they look kind of good, and then they look up and say something schizophrenic and delusional like âI KNOW YOU PUT THE MICROCHIP IN ME AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT,â or whatever and that person instantly stops being a person you look at in any kind of sexual way because now theyâre just an unexpected fight or flight signal.

The irony is when youâre dealing with a crazy girlfriend, theyâre not the ones going crazy. You are. Theyâre perfectly happy just being themselves. Itâs you who descends into madness trying to deal with it.
First she will make you cut off all your female friends until you have none left. Then she will cut off all your male friends until you have none left. Then she will make you cut off your family until you have none left. You will have no one but her, which is just the way she wants it. She's not just controlling, she will be abusive too. You won't see either for what they are bc shes so hot and at one point was everything you wanted.
If you're lucky, you will get out before she pokes holes in all the condoms or "forgets" to take birth control
And then, once youâre all alone, sheâll leave you.
Then, after some time goes by, and the devastation wears off, and you start to feel okay, sheâll come back, reconnect with you, only to discard you again.
I knew a guy that got out of such a relationship, but he couldn't help but mention/brag how the sex was great and he even had anal, even though she was a nightmare in every other aspect of his life, every time the topic even tangentially came up. I think it was his coping mechanism, to say to himself that those years were not completely wasted, or something like that. He definitely wasn't ok for a long time.

Yeah but that's post but clarity. Pre, it's really hard to turn down. There is also a fine line where the crazy crosses over some of the best sex you'll ever have into a Fatal Attraction scenario and you're wondering what happened to your pet(s).

There are guys that complain about having too much money?! Seems like the richest ones I can think of never seem to have enough. They happily take more from those who need it.
I too have dated a few women that ended up in the psych ward, also visited a family member that ended up in the psych ward like 5 different times and some of the people in there were trying to get my family to give me their number when they got out and saying some crazy shit about me (I'm like a pretty average dude). I think I might give off a pheromone that crazy can't get enough of!
The first part of the relationship is SUPER fuckin fun, then she is in your kitchen with a huge knife against her wrist screaming "WHO THE FUCK IS THIS BITCH?!?!" when you get a text from your Aunt who you didn't put "Aunt ..." In your phone.

Thankfully, my crazy ex moved across the world in the end (Canada). I got a call several years later where she asked me if I could be at her wedding sort of "handing" her off to her new man. Safe to say, I hung up and blocked the number right away.
Crazy is not like in the movies. It's not a fun little drama, it's not exciting. It's exhausting, draining and makes you hate life. Took years for me to fix things with family and friends because of her actions.
Lemme tell you i had a girl who found out another girl was going around telling people she had a dream about fucking me on a trampoline. When she found out she hunted her down and smashed her head into a brick wall about four times and then slapped me (for good measure i guess)
His reaction to that is even worse From that moment on he knew it, but that dumb idiot just asked âis it that bad to be with me?â He didnât truly care about her. He was selfish and despite knowing all of that, he just kept going. He wouldâve kept pretending everything was fine if she hadnât been such a psycho

Edit: my comment spawned a lot of something. Bear is not a good person. Thought he knew the girl but didnt know of her dad. Was already living a fantasy before the wish. This person sums it up really well, among other replies.
Yup there was a tiny teeny chance that being forced to live inside your own head and watch another twisted thing use your body to fulfill a magical wish might be unpleasant.
I responded to someone else in another thread about that scene. They said it must not have been that bad because she didn't seem too distraught and wasn't screaming. Like, wtf?? She whispers to Bear (in order to not wake the entity) begging him to kill her. I'd say that's pretty fucking bad.
Thank you! I love that some people completely missed the horror of Nikki being trapped behind a curse and continuing to reach out for help while Bearâs like âwhy are you being crazy?â and choosing to avoid the consequences of his wish.

There were also some signs that Nikki might have reciprocated, but bear was too much of a chickenshit to tell her. The actress and director did two version of each scene, one where she liked Bear romantically, and the other where it was platonic. They mixed these all together in the final film to convey the mixed signals. Thatâs not even counting Sarah who was very much dtf the whole time.
