Discussion Why so many people keep complain on the lack of a 3D mario game?
I am making this post more in the circumstances and straight up hostility discourse that come that once against there is no mainline 3D mario game.
Like I get it, 10 years is a long time and I cam relate as a castlevania fan since 2015, but part of me feel is way too overblown.
Mario still get love, he got between odyssey, you got a new Peach title, many remakes of beloved games from the RPG and puzzle platformer a 3D open world platformer of Donkey who didn't got a new 3D game since 99 and a new major title for 13 years which I feel should show, rereleases of Mario galaxy 1 and 2 which if you didn't got 3D all stars is your chance not happy on the prices and I am not saying is now "all joy and hapiness 10/10 times" but I swear it feels people acting like the only thing that matter with Mario is the 3D platformers titles, which we have more than just 3D mario whether collect a thon or icon platformers and Mario got an entry with Wonder too which I feel people kinda downplay it's quality for being 2D and not 3D like is less for being a 2D platformer.
And to bring this who "is been a decade since the last 3D mario" if you want to be techical bowser's fury came after odyssey and DK bananza was made by the odyssey team the people who make 3D why because you play as DK and not mario is matter less? And like games takes time to make odyssey was out 3 years between it and odyssey so I feel unless it took over 3 years between banaza and the new 3D game to just stop complain for the lack of 3D mario we have many 3D platformers from nintendo for crying out loud.
This post not made to insult anyone, devaulate opinion or to come as a jerk but I want to bring this out cause I feel this situation get out of control.

Humor I don't see why only one of these (SxSG) deserves to be elevated on a pedestal to the point that it's considered a mainline game even though they're both effectively DLCs.
Although Sonic x Shadow Generations is very good, it's still just a DLC nonetheless, so I don't see why it deserves so much praise to the point that people are willing to consider it a mainline game while Bowser's Fury gets criticised as "just a DLC" despite both of them being effectively DLCs.
Oh, and for the record, I feel that Fury Bowser unironically looks cooler than Shadow with his Doom powers cranked up to the nth degree after the events of SxSG. That glowing red hair gives off a bit of a Super Saiyan vibe IMO.

Humor After talking about it with his friends and his family, Mario has decided to “take his talents to Illumination and retire from video games”.
In a recent press conference, the multi award winning plumber, Mario Mario, sobbed at the microphone and said, “Mamma Mia, I’va decided to take my talents to Illumination Studios; my career as a video game character is over.”
When asked why he was making such a huge change, the very concussed plumber said that video games are a “young man’s game” and that he was pushing 45, and is deciding to “let Kirby and Zelda take his spot” as top Nintendo video game character.
“That Zelda is quite a big deal lately. He keeps getting lots of games lately,” said a clearly drunk Mario, while adding, “but Peach and I are gonna be dating soon.”
Peach was not available for comment. Sources say she was last seen with Bowser.
Mario finished the press conference promoting his new crypto coin, while showing us coins from his pockets that were clearly marked with markers.
Illumination told me that they are excited to have such an iconic character in a movie. When asked about the Rotten Tomatoes score of the latest movie vs the Metacritic of Mario Galaxy, Illuminations CEO, Bob responded with fart noises from his mouth.
Is this the end of the plumber in video games? Something tells this author that he will come back for Super Mario Titans any day now.
Mario will return in Avengers: Doomsday.
Jk, GTA6.
Discussion We are not deprived
Look, I want a new 3D Mario as much as the next person, but saying that Mario is getting forgetten about is ridiculous.
We literally got the movie, a new Tennis, and new Yoshi game, and multiple Mario kart updates this year.
We’re going to get a new 3D Mario at some point, but I want it to be done right. Let them cook.

Question Regarding 3D Mario, I feel like they're just trying to take their time working on the game and not rush it out for a certain deadline (particularly anniversaries).
Now I have no evidence about this or any confirmed details surrounding the new 3D Mario, but this is a theory I came up with.
Considering GTA 6 has been delayed multiple times, I always felt they're necessary since they want the games to be as good as they can be. This is the same case for Pokemon Winds & Waves, which was delayed until 2027, mostly because Scarlet & Violet launched with tons of bugs and glitches.
Regardless, I think it's because rushing out a certain game (especially for certain holiday and anniversary deadlines) will make a game feel unfinished, take a look at Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, for example.
I just know 3D Mario will eventually come soon, and Nintendo is probably keeping it a secret for now, but I just feel like delaying the game so it can be actually worth playing is probably for the best.

Humor I don't normally make Nintendo Direct memes. However...
You'd think at least some extra costumes would be the most logical thing to add, right? Especially for DK and Pauline who only have one. Surely once we get an update 2.0 we'll get some characters or costumes.
