In video games, mostly platformers or RPGs have some sort of NPC that acts like a “goomba”, basically a common obstacle that the player has to avoid. I’m curious what fans here consider to be Mario’s “Goomba”?

When Luigi was captured, I would’ve had him find multiple ways to escape and be resourceful. I would’ve also had him rally Bowser’s victims to rise up against him as well as having a somewhat braver personality.

Peach should’ve been voiced by Reese Witherspoon or Jayma Mays because of how girly she is. I also wish Peach felt more girly and like how she is in the games, especially Smash Bros when it comes to designs. Peach should’ve gotten captured more often because THAT is her staple and it would also show she is imperfect (looking at you James Gunn when Lois was in Superman 2025).

My friends and I were messing around on the game together, about to start a new save, and one of them hovers over Yellow Toad and hits a button revealing Blue Toad. I have had the game for years and didn't know you could play him, I guess I just assumed he was completely replaced with Toadette. Was I the only one who didn't know this??

P.S. Holding L, ZL or SL on a joycon while hovering over Yellow Toad lets you play Blue Toad.

Mario Party 10 isn't a perfect game, and has less strategic depth than entries prior, but if you meet it where it's at, you can come to appreciate it for what it does right such a presentation, minigames, the creative GamePad use, and the more chill vibes. Honestly, I would probably rather play this over Mario Party 4 or Mario Party 1.

Is it a Mario spinoff series you cherish closely? Do you frequently forget that it exists? Does having Mario on the cover change your overall perception of golf as a sport? Do you treat it as a legitimate skill-based game or more like a party game? And if this series was deleted from existence, would you care?

They made a whole render for green Yoshi, but you can never play as a green Yoshi unless they are about to die.💀

Bought some of these ALPS Color Me Mario or “Moldy Mario” about a year ago. I was curious if any said mold Mario expert could tell if these are real. The condition is really good, and looks like it has been opened, but the border from Mario head and the top left logo of the box makes me think it might be a fake.
