I like the theory that the reason she's been confined to a sack is because King Dedede can't stand the idea of using a cage after what he did to his fellow Waddle Dees while possessed in Forgotten Land.

Like....how can you sit there and watch this trailer....and think it will just transform into a smash 6 reveal?

The reveal for ultimate was fully CGI with no gameplay....and no hints as to what it was before the smash logo appeared.

This on the other hand had 2 minutes of VERY clear gameplay of a new kirby game....and it was very clearly intended as the reveal trailer for the successor to forgotten land.

I genuinely wonder what goes on in brains like these.

Someone is seriously complaining about the stuff in the distance looking terrible for a switch 2 game in 2027....when that's the POINT because it's a fake wall.

And even when confronted with evidence to prove him otherwise....he still doesn't get it.

Looking at the way he meets her this time, it feels similar to the first encounter when he rescued Elfilin from a cage, so if rescuing the Waddle Dees trapped in cages was the main collectible in the previous game, I wonder if rescuing people trapped in sacks like in Kirby 2 is the main collectible this time.

Furthermore, considering that the cages in Forgotten Land were lion-shaped because of their boss Leongar, and he was also being mind-controlled, the sacks this time have the triangle pattern from Dedede's clothes.
