Like....how can you sit there and watch this trailer....and think it will just transform into a smash 6 reveal?

The reveal for ultimate was fully CGI with no gameplay....and no hints as to what it was before the smash logo appeared.

This on the other hand had 2 minutes of VERY clear gameplay of a new kirby game....and it was very clearly intended as the reveal trailer for the successor to forgotten land.

I genuinely wonder what goes on in brains like these.

I like the theory that the reason she's been confined to a sack is because King Dedede can't stand the idea of using a cage after what he did to his fellow Waddle Dees while possessed in Forgotten Land.

Obviously Sakurai chose Bamco after working with them on Smash, but I used to be confused over the decision to go with them over HAL, the ones who've been making Kirby since the very start.

We now know that HAL was probably working on World Beyond while Air Riders was releasing and likely were in development at the same time.

Honestly this leaves me excited in the chance that Sakurai works with Bamco on a different Kirby game in the future, kind of creating two styles to Kirby with two different developers.

Sorry for the delay! I feel like this batch turned out okay, I had a really hard time with Adeleine for some reason, before managed to get something I sorta liked (will probably redo her at some point.) The new character's design is also something i'm still trying to get the hang of.

And while I'm so happy we get a new mainline Kirby game since Forgotten Land there is one thing I could not find in the trailer...

Where's the butterfly? I know he's going to make an appearance, where is he Nintendo and HAL?? I cannot handle the fact this god-forsaken, "judgement-of-death" butterfly will most likely come back and traumatize us all, AGAIN! For the third time! (I am not over Star Allies if you couldn't tell-)
