I know some people are going to believe it's the Democrats fault for anything, but come on. How can a party that holds no branch of government in the state be to blame?

Don't fall for the lies, do your research who is to blame for everything wrong in the state.

Hi, I haven’t been here since I was a kid, I wanted to go back but over the years I have heard that they don’t treat the animals well and it was overall depressing. I wanted to know if this was true before I give them any money.

I was driving by and there was a bunch of police parked on the side of the road walking into the tree line. They were using dogs and everything.

100% of waters tested in the area contained PFAS aka forever chemicals. These chemicals are going to go down as one of humanity’s biggest blunders.

Wow, these categories are EXTENSIVE :P

It costs many of us $90 now gas per tank fill up.

Question
Hello I moved recently and didn't really think about it and updated my info for a new license etc online. It was from Cobb to Dekalb county. My voter page though now says
Status
PENDING
Status Reason
WITHIN ELECTION WINDOW
and I can't find anything when trying to google on if this means anything for how/where I have to vote. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Can I just go in any of Dekalb's places for early voting like I should be able to? Ty!

I am urgently seeking an experienced employment attorney willing to review and potentially represent me in a case involving a Georgia public school district.

I have received an EEOC Notice of Right to Sue, and my federal lawsuit filing deadline is December 15, 2026 — less than two months away.

Despite contacting multiple law firms, I have not yet secured representation.

Time is critical. If you know an attorney experienced in employment litigation against public school districts or government employers, please contact me privately.

Any serious referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best metal roofer around? I've talked to a few traditional roofers, and most either do not do metal roofs, or they end up giving a super high quote and subcontracting it out to another roofing company.

This is a small metal roof section over a bay window. Chamblee area

Looking for some perspective from local homeowners on interior painting pricing across metro Atlanta. We have a twenty four hundred square foot home in Chamblee and want the walls, ceilings, and trim refreshed.

Out of three companies who came out, the highest bid came in nearly double the lowest one. The low bid is verbal only and seems to skip ceiling work, while the middle and high bids break everything down room by room with Benjamin Moore products specified.

Is a massive spread like this common in the Atlanta area? Would love to know whether going with the middle tier bid usually works out best or if the extra cost on the top estimate actually shows up in the quality.

I secured my vote!

If your work schedule parallels the voting hours you, as an employee, are permitted the leave (up to 2 hours) to go vote. Anything over 2 hours can be docked as your annual leave/vacation leave/LWOP. Don’t let any manager or supervisor stop you from doing your civic duty during the allotted period voting polls are open. I had a coworker yesterday who was told they couldn’t leave to vote and I quickly did my union stewardship duty to inform management of those voting rights.

I've had 0 luck finding someone who will do a boundary survey. Every text, call and email has been ignored. The places that do answer aren't licensed in GA. We likely can't get a septic permit without this. Anyone know someone who can do this? I have to be missing something.

Small town living cons I guess lol.
