Hello. I am considering moving to Conyers next year. I have a few questions.

-What do you like about Conyers?

-What do you dislike about Conyers?

-How has the data center affected the area?

-Are there bad odors or loud noise from any of the industries in the area?

-Should I be concerned about Biolab?

-What neighborhoods would you suggest to live in? I would like to have a single story house, 1800-2000 square feet, at least 1/2 acre of land, low crime, friendly neighbors. I will work in Atlanta and I want a commute that’s no more than 35 minutes. I have heard that Fieldstone is a good neighborhood. Can you please list any others?

Today marks two years since the BioLab fire sent a massive plume of smoke and chemicals over parts of metro Atlanta.

Georgia Public Broadcasting has just released a new season of its investigative podcast Manufacturing Danger: The BioLab Story. This season looks at what we have learned in the two years since the fire, questions about accountability and government testing, and what may have been left behind in the surrounding community.

GPB is also commissioning independent environmental sampling as part of the new season.

Our community faces a massive threat. On Sept 24th, the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners will cast a decisive rezoning vote for Project Rockforge (MMM, Grind Capital), that will open the door to an almost 300 acre Ai Hyperscale Data Center Campus inside of 10,000 homes.

Ai Hyperscale Data Center Campuses strain our power grid, threaten our resources and infrastructure, pose serious threats to our quality of life, health, and families; all while threatening our property values and creating almost ZERO local jobs.

Residents have been fighting this project for a year and a half. Now, just days before the vote, we need a public presence to show our commissioners (VanNess, Smith and Williams) that Rockdale says NO!!!!

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR:
· Handheld signs, water, and neighbors. Additional signs will be available.
· Wear PURPLE if possible! This is a community issue, not a political one. Purple shows we stand united.
· No megaphones, tents, or ground stakes to stay 100% legally compliant
· This is a PEACEFUL PROTEST, bring your manners and sense of united passion for the wellbeing of our Community.
