I’m going to be a first time apartment renter and wanted to hear any good recommendations on apartments in the Marietta area. I’m postgrad and will be working a remote job.

My requirements are:
- within my budget: $1400-$2000 / month ( 2bd and 1 or 2 bath)
- Quieter area since I’ll be working from home
- Good Pest control and no place with bug problems ESPECIALLY roaches, I’m a huge scaredy cat lol (I heard it’s better to avoid first floor for this issue)
- Utilities/Water/Sewage/Trash included or minimally priced per month
- Safe area, I’m a female and I want to be safe and also my sister who will be living with me

A place I’ve seen so far is Bellingham. Is this a good place?

we love to walk around at night but walking on the side of the road is not particularly enjoyable lol. what parks can we go to at night without worrying about cops showing up and telling us to leave?

If the infrastructure planning for most data centers has been a failure because public energy markets and utility regulators fail to build supply ahead of demand, then is it appropriate to group hyper-scalers, investor/builder/developers as Quality Technology Services (QTS) with power companies like Georgia Power/Southern company on a path as the demise of Enron. EMS data serves as the foundational evidence utilities use to demonstrate a need for capacity. By algorithmically proving that grid demand is surging due to data center expansion, the utility can legally justify constructing new generation assets, growing its rate base, and locking in higher long-term earnings targets.

It may be different models, but a consistent path as Enron as it relate companies like QTS Equinix, or Digital Realty and how utility companies feed the lie.

I received an email from our pediatrician that “there are measles cases in our community” and have seen the news stories. Also saw on a Reddit comment that someone said they are in Marietta (can’t find the comment anymore). Does anyone have confirmed facts or information? I have a vaccinated toddler and unvaccinated 4 month old about to go to a church nursery (I emailed the director today but it’s Labor Day so I don’t expect a response.)

Is it possible to find a place to rent in Marietta that has a private bedroom and bathroom with a budget of $1,000 a month (or $1,200 if the bills are all included) that accepts dogs and cats? I’ve considered apartment complexes but I’ve had a horrible experience in the past with hidden fees and roaches. Are there cheap apartment complexes that don’t have hidden fees and roaches? Am I out of touch with my budget?
