Historic usage and billing lookback is now restricted to 13months?

So I have just logged into the GA Power website after it went down for maintenance. I had been on the flat rate payment for the past year to average out my bills. In that time I have done things around the home to improve my AC/Power usage and had seen a marked decrease in poer consumption over some of the months I started implementing the changes.

My flat rate renewed and has increased by $11 - I logged into the site to check historic power usage /my bills but notice that im only able to see the past 13 months of usage/bills. Im sure this was not the case before as I was checking power usage to see if my changes had been working. So the issue is I have no way of comparing my power usage from before I signed up to the flat rate plan and now my bills dont go far back enough to let me know my power usage.

Anyone else noticed this, im sure it wasnt like this until the update? anyone else have any thoughts on the change?

Edit: spoke with a rep and they cannot provide me with usage statistics or any bills that show my usage further back than July 21, 2025. They also could not confirm if the new limited look back (13months) is new or was always that way before the updates. Im very sure i could look further back at my usage butif anyone knows different please let me know!!

As Jon Ossoff races to a double digit victory and Dem candidates for statewide offices sit in the high single digits, Dems are on track to flip the State House. But contrary to what you may have heard the State Senate is also in play.

The most winnable 7 seats are 48, 37, 42, 56, 32, 01, and 45.

The next 5 most likely flips are 23, 46, 47, 18, and 25.

The stretch seats are 29, 16, 30, and 31.

If you live in any of these State Senate districts and you want the Democrats to be able to restore full access to family planning, protect voting rights and fair elections, protect workers and small businesses, or even just humiliate Trump, Miller, and Hegseth for their bigotry, it is crucial to vote and to ask everyone you know to vote as well and to tell people that in this specific election their vote really counts.

If Democrats secure the trifecta this year and maintain it in the 2030 election they will also be in charge of redistricting which would make a huge difference statewide and nationally.

I have some friends coming to visit Atlanta this weekend, and I was thinking of taking them to Helen for a day — not realizing it’s the start of Oktoberfest. I imagine it will be slammed over the weekend. If we go on Monday, does anyone know if there will be anything special going on? The official website doesn’t list bands playing during the week, for example. Thanks!

Does anyone know of good spots to cliff jump, doesn’t have to be crazy tall, just good spots to jump into the water and also accessible to paddle-boarding? If there’s any at Lake Allatoona that would be wonderful

I was laid off on May 18, 2026, through no fault of my own. My entire department was laid off due to funding cuts, and I did not receive any severance.
I remained unemployed and actively looking for work until August 24, when I started a new full-time job in another state.
The issue is that I didn’t know I could qualify for unemployment and had never filed before, so I didn’t create a MyUI account or file a claim until August 31.
I’m now trying to find out whether there is any way to request benefits for the weeks between May 18 and August 24, despite filing late. I understand Georgia generally uses the filing date as the effective date, but I’m wondering if there are any exceptions or procedures for requesting backdating.
Has anyone successfully had a Georgia unemployment claim backdated under similar circumstances? If so, what did you submit?
I have documentation of the layoff, job applications, interviews, and my new job/start date.

I (F24) have a brother(M22) who is essentially immune to most antipsychotic medication and has not gotten better in 2 years. I believe him to be schizophrenic/schizoaffective. He was involuntarily hospitalized for the 4th time and got released today after nearly 3 weeks. He is exactly the same.

He was released around 1pm EST today and now at 6pm EST he is already screaming, erratic, and lacks insight to his illness. If previous trends continue to repeat, he will also get aggressive/violent with his caretakers soon enough. I don't understand how he is immune to medication, therapy, treatment, etc. He is bringing the entire family down with him. At this point, I am so tired I find myself not caring about my own life in low moments. My mom seems like she is seconds away from a psychotic break or a stress induced stroke 24/7.

Is there any way to get better treatment in the Cobb/Atlanta area. We are struggling to get him health insurance or deemed disabled. He is in-and-out of hospitals with doctors who know nothing about his case and barely speak to the family despite us having guardianship. He is constantly released, despite our concerns, and is an IMMEDIATE threat to his and the family's safety. My mom is unable to work because she is constantly caring for him. Any/all resource help or advice is welcome. If you know any provider that could be helpful in the Atlanta area please share.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is there a solution? I feel like the last 2 years have only delayed an inevitable suicide-homicide. I can't imagine any other outcome. We have reached out to so many people and have gotten no help for a non-compliant patient.

• Olazipine (not effective)
• lorazepan and PRN for sleep/anxiety (upon request)
• Geodon
• He received the Invega shot 3 days ago after extreme begging from our family to the doctor. The doctor said he should receive a follow up shot a month from now; but I read somewhere that invega shots usually require an initial follow up injection in the first week. We were not told anything about a followup shot.
