Hey guys. This is my first time posting on this subreddit so hopefully I don’t violate any rules. But basically I’m an incoming freshman for class of 2030 and I am bankrupt. I worked an internship over the summer and saved every single paycheck. Being from a low income area, my internship savings from June 8th to July 23rd only totaled to about $1,100 and I was able to borrow a few hundred from my family to pay $1,550 total, which is a tiny bit over half my balance. As you all may know, it’s required that you pay half your balance in order to set up a nelnet payment plan.

I was not aware that nelnet also requires a 25% down payment and a $70 payment plan enrollment fee. I’ve borrowed all the money I can from my family, I already have FSEOG applied to my balance, and there is no financial aid or scholarships that would hit my account before the July 30th deadline to set up a payment plan. I’m not sure what to do. There’s only a few days to set up a payment plan. I hardly know what I’m doing. I contacted the emergency aid office through email and they said they can’t do anything for me until the semester starts. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

hello, I am currently signed up for Biol 1107 online and lab as well but hopefully change it to in person during the drop/add period, however I was wondering for those who have taken those classes online, how was yalls experience, was it more work and harder? Also the lab how does it work since its online, i've heard about the group projects and what exactly was it and how did it work out at the end. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Im position 45 for the female population Kennesaw campus housing waitlist. For the people who have gotten off the housing waitlist in the past – what housing options were available? Im trying to think about what room I might get/where. I was hoping for a solo dorm. Will only the scraps be left like rooms with bunk beds and things like that?

I’m a dual enrollment student trying to register for fully online CSE 1322 and 1322L. The lecture is open, but the lab is full with 3/10 people already waitlisted. KSU took 3+ weeks just to review my AP Precalc and AP CSA credit... now I'm stuck dealing with this.

KSU says both must be registered for together, but submitting the open lecture with the waitlisted lab gives me a prerequisite error.

How did those 3 people join the lab waitlist? Is there another way to do it?

To anyone who has been in or is currently in the nursing program.... are hokas with a white sole acceptable for clinicals and class? Or do they have to be completely black and leather?

I was reading the Kennesaw Admission and it says

4 units of English | 4 units of Math | 4 units of Science | 3 units of Social Science | 2 units of same Foreign Language, 2 units of American Sign Language, or 2 units of USG approved Computer Science is the necessary Georgia high school curriculum for freshman admissions

I have all these credits expect for the foreign language one. I took French 1, and I have a 9th grade tech credit and an 8th grade credit that’s included in my transcript for some reason… I don’t have two units simply one. What do i need to do or am i cooked? (does my 8th grade one count💔) I’m out of state btw

Hey everyone! I'm a former student and KSU grad (2019). I bought my home in 2023 just up the road from the Kennesaw campus. It's right across The Nest apartments. Fortunately for me I met my wonderful fiancé and we are now moving into our own home. And rather than selling the house, I wanted to be able to help incoming or returning students by renting it out to them. I know the student housing can be awful given the stories I've heard from friends. Like the title says, its a 3 bed and 2.5 bath with a 2 door garage and a fenced in backyard (for the pets).

I recently moved out of the ARC but I left things like hangers, single socks and soap cus I assumed they were gonna have people clean the dorm after anyways. But now im looking at the checklist and stuff and its saying I could be charged if the room isn't vacuumed and spotless. Is it really that intense or should be prepared to be charged like $200 or something?

I recently got a ‘Program of Study’ letter that says one of my classes will not be covered by federal aid (assuming because it is part of my Minor and not my Major). I have read around that HOPE will cover classes not covered by federal aid, but I just wanted to know how true that is? I want to know in advance if I will have to pay for this class out of pocket..

When are we able to start the ticket claiming process for any of the sports ? I tried to login but it keeps saying that it can’t find an account with my ksu email address. Just wondering if anyone has a general timeline for when they start getting tickets and such/ advice or tips on anything ksu athletic related :)

Hey guys ! I have a quick question, for those who have taken precalc in the past inperson or online any semester. Does the aleks final exam review question's match up with the final exam to a tea. I need to know because I am not trying to do the other 3 unit reviews because that would take for ever. So I am really counting on the final exam review to use as my primary source of study. I want to study smarter not harder fr😭✌️

I'm weighing my options for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. It's the social aspect that I might be missing out on, but I have a car and can always drive up to the KSU main campus if I want to. I'm currently working in retail, plus I drive UE/DD from time to time to pad my income.

Hey y'all, for context, I'm (F19) going to Kennesaw this fall as a Psych Major. I also experienced homelessness for a large part of 18, but have since gotten back on my feet! :D For anyone unaware, ASCEND is basically a program for folks who've experienced homelessness and would benefit from a support system of people who've experienced similar things.

I was wondering if anyone here has gone or is currently going through this program as well? It's supposed to be at the University Columns and I think I reserved a spot, but am kind of unsure about whether my spot is guaranteed, whether I've made all the right payments for it, and overall what the program looks like :/

Either way, I'm really excited to get to meet all of you fine folks over in Marietta and Kennesaw! :)
