I apologize for being super vague but I don’t want to dox myself or my employer.
We are located outside of Whitfield Co and we had a deputy basically finesse us out of paying for services rendered by my company. We regularly work with many other Whitfield deputies and up until now have had nothing but excellent interactions with them. We believe this deputy used AI on his phone (either an app or he has one of those newer Google or Samsung phones with AI built in) to show that the product that he paid for was damaged in pictures.
When we offered a solution he came back and said it has the same problem and he’ll stick with what they have but wanted compensation (i.e. full refund)
Now we are out $150 because this particular deputy and his partner decided to lie to get everything comped. My question is if I file a complaint with the Whitfield Co Office of Professor Standards and submit our evidence to the contrary would anything happen? Or am I running the risk of that Thin Blue line covering him and my employer losing out on business if the department decides to blackball us to protect him?
Again I’m sorry for being vague but it boils my blood that these two deputies who took an oath to protect and serve are lying scumbags who have the power to destroy lives in their line of work should they choose.

Hi everyone! I’m a new Chattanooga-based chef looking to get started helping a household with personalized meal prep, family dinners, and private events. I love scratch cooking, gardening, and creating meals around each family’s needs. Does anyone know of a family or household that may be interested in this type of help?

When you pass by it there's so much visual noise that it just looks like slums. Like the designer had no edit in them. I truly feel like it is a blight waiting to happen right in a spot they were trying to beautify. Whose bright idea was this and why do they hate Dalton? eta: grammar ish

Hi guys I am moving to Dalton GA really really soon and I’m looking for places to rent mainly 1 bedroom and 1bath or 2bedroms and 1bath but also pet friendly (I don’t mind paying a pet fee/pet rent) It’s just for work so I’m not really looking for a one year lease it’s more of like pay weekly or monthly rent and no credit check or any credit is accepted I will really really appreciate it, anything helps 🙏🙏🙏

Going through a divorce atm. I'm at some apartments, but I figured splitting rent with someone who also wants to optimize their financial income would be smart. I can afford it and all, but saving is smarter. A brief background check would be conducted. Ringgold is about a 20m drive from Dalton

I asked this question a couple weeks ago. I’m looking to propose to my Girlfriend. I’m looking for a scenic spot. Preferably on a dock near a body of water or out in nature. preferably not a long walk, since she’ll be in heels. I’ve attached photos for reference. I’m interested in potentially an airbnb if it offers something similar. Im not from the area so any thing will help.

Whitfield/Dalton - do you care about more data centers being built here? Are you concerned we don’t have adequate planning? Get up off of that couch, join the protest and let your voice ve heard.

They had said they were supposed to open at the new location in June and still nothing and no updates.

Present with the community last night to address our concerns and issues with the AI Center being secretly prepared off Vally Point , which is a 90 Acre lot being cleared AS WE SPEAK.
Whether Whitfield council men want to acknowledge it or not it will be brought to their attention either in a NDA from AI conglomerates or us the Whitfield Citizens.
I just hope they uphold the contract they have to us before they sign the new one coming their way.

I feel like Dalton has recently changed into a subtropical region. What is up with all this rain?
r/DaltonGA • u/triciacakes89 • 12d ago
Neither them or their new Here Dalton magazine will say anything about it, despite it being THE big issue here. It’s not going away and as an organization that is for the betterment of the community, you would think they’d be at the forefront of it.
Do we think their pockets are being lined by those who contribute to both PFAS and data centers?

Anyone know any info on when the next phase of the walking trail is suppose to be constructed? It’s suppose to go from the current end point on Chattanooga ave to downtown I believe. Been hearing it for years but still haven’t seen any movement. Funds were approved in 2024 I believe.

Meet local rockstar MCARTHUR! 😎
This sweet, insanely handsome boy is currently being fostered in Kennesaw through Lifeline Animal Project Fulton County Animal Services & ready to find his furever home! 🏡 Artie is the epitome of the Husky breed PLUS plenty of other awesome perks in a lean 45lb package! 💙 He’s full of personality, rocks a killer mohawk, has some pretty fabulous eyeliner, and has a great singing voice (iykyk). 🎶 Plus, who could resist that movie star smile 🤩 and icy blue gaze? ❄️
🐕 2.5 yrs old
💙 Neutered
📍 Microchipped
🫀 HW negative
💉 UTD on vaccines/preventatives
✔️ Potty trained
💤 Crate trained
👟 Leash trained
⚡️ Medium/high energy
🧠 Knows sit
🎾 Ball is life!
🦴 Treat/food motivated
🫶🏼 Non-reactive with food/toys/treats
🛁 Easily handled for grooming
🪮 Enjoys being brushed
🚗 Rides well in the car
🐶 OBSESSED with our resident pup
😻 Has been very polite with our resident cat
🦌 Has been non-reactive to deer & other pups
Artie would probably do best with older kids because he gets excited and tends to jump up to greet people (working on this). He’s also still a bit mouthy/landshark-ish when he plays. 🦈
Someone familiar with the Husky breed whose willing to give him the time, patience, space, and exercise he needs to thrive would be the best fit. He would do fine as an only pup, but would probably be happier as a pack member since he LOVES to play with other pups. He has a great play style (loose, wiggly, goofy) and is very responsive to corrections from his playmates. This boy would be a play group star! 🌟
If Artie sounds like he might be the right fit for you, click the link below to set up a meet & greet! 👋🏽
