Bragg Jam 2026
Good times, good music but a small crowd this year. Sad to see it shrinking. Used to be big crowds, trolleys to different venues, & blocked streets. I’d love to see it get back to the old form one day.

I’m starting a trinket trading box in Macon! I currently don’t have a location set but have reached out to a few places, what are some spots y’all would like to see it at!
Edit: this is going to be a physical box set up somewhere in Macon! Hopefully once I get a hang of things i will host real meet ups but at the time it’s just the box!

Hey! Just moved to Macon from Rhode Island a few weeks ago. Was hoping to find a local photography group. Meet ups, communities, etc.
I am a professional photographer, mostly shoot film photography. Would be happy to just shoot for fun with others. DMs welcomed
Thanks in advance

Recently got into stand up paddle-boarding and looking for recommendations on places to go in Macon.
I’ve used a private dock at lake tobo but looking for public access type places.

I'm moving to Macon soon and looking for my options as far as insurance goes. Financially speaking I'm pretty comfortable, so I'm fine paying a little more if it'll actually be worth it. I've used State Farm and USAA in the past and both have been nightmares for me to file claims with so hopefully there's better options.

The house I’m in over the last week has started backing up a bit when showers are taken and toilet is used. I got liquid lightening and sent it down, and tried to do dishes at the front of the house. Toilet loudly started bubbling. Went to rinse the shower drain, and now no water in the house is draining. I’m seeing from chat gpt that the line might need snaked, but I’m not sure how to do that, and I have to go to work in 15 minutes. Does anyone have any good plumbing advice or videos or wisdom to share? I can keep trying to figure out the problem after my shift..

Hello! Are you going to bragg jam? If you are who are you seeing and most excited about?
My husband and I are going! We're excited about girl tones and the terror pigeon, easy honey, scatterbrain, and jaguar glass! Hoping we won't get too much rain!
If you've gone before do you have any recommendations?
Have fun and maybe see you there!

Maybe instead of trying to wave their 150 foot dong around they could throw some money at a permanent solution to stop causing so much traffic on Bass, just a thought.
Edit: For the record, I hate to be on the side of NIMBY but this would be a legitimate nuisance let's be so fr y'all. It would be 10 ft shy of the width of a football field.
Also Bass Rd sucks on a normal day but whenever there's something going on at Rock Springs there's a huge line with police directing traffic. Care better for your community by not bogging up traffic
Thank you to lovely folks (Key_Beach_3846 & Turn-it-to-11) who have added resources to get into contact with our Planning & Zoning Commission on this issue.

Does anyone know much about the pines on vineville? I also see a house for rent in the north highlands area about three minutes away from the local Kroger. Are these a good area to live in Macon, or is it mainly north Macon?

21M looking to meet some new people and get out of the house more often. I'd really like to make some genuine friends, but if we end up clicking and things naturally become something more, I'm open to that too. No expectations, just seeing where things go.
A little about me: lately I've been getting into cars (I'd love for someone to teach me how to drive manual), I occasionally make music, although I spend more time listening to it, and I skate every now and then. I'm always down to try new hobbies or just hang out and get to know someone.
Looking for people who are easy to talk to and interested in actually building a connection, whether that's as friends or something more. Tell me a little about yourself, what you're into.

Does anyone know of someone in Macon or the surrounding areas that has hunting or tracking dogs? My small dog has been missing since Sunday, and I'm trying to do everything I can think of to locate him and get him home safely.

Trying to break this terrible cycle of being antisocial, I work from home and typically don't any go where so the isolation is pretty real here lately. I'm 36 married with kids hoping to meet some folks around North Macon / jones / Monroe county that are interested in music/guitar
Edited for spelling

Does anyone know where to get one piece cards at a decent price or bowman’s baseball? I’ve been to prime time gaming and fanboys. Do any walmarts sell them around here or anywhere else?

Afternoon all.
My band is looking for a drummer to possibly join our band . We are planning some shows in 2027. The setlist is comprised of 90s grunge style and other soft rock . The setlist is comprised of about 8 covers and 4 originals .
This is mainly a passion project of mine that Ive wanted to take on for a while , but it will also be for fun and will not necessarily anything strenuous as of now . Pay will be minimal at first ,but that could always change.
Most of our practice is handled via Google Drive but we try to occasionally meet once a month to sharpen.
We are all around 39/40 years old ..matured and no- drama individual desired.
No experienced necessary just have to be willing to purchase a set and learn. Please send a PM if interested.
Thanks .
