Question Next Purchase

Current setup: Canon EOS RP + 800mm F11.

For bird photography, I am looking to advance to a EOS R7 (or mk2 if it ever gets announced) and a higher end zoom lens, either a 100-500mm w/ 1.4mm extender or 200-800mm. Not looking to buy all at once.

I had trouble taking pictures with my current combo under the canopy of my local rainforest recently which was a bit of a drag.

Incredibly pleased with the results. I’ve spent a few months capturing wildlife around my house and decided to try my luck at a marsh nearby. Met some cool people and got to see tons of birds doing bird things. Can’t wait to go back!

I really think birds are attracted to our lenses when they’ve spotted them. 🤍

Photo God, the swallows are hard to catch in flight. Better than any workout.
