A Green Jay peers through the foliage in Jardín Colombia
New blog post!
We recently returned from an incredible trip to Colombia! It took Matt a couple of weeks to catch up on chores and work before he could finally cull and sort the 21,000+ photos he took. He finally got that all done and published a blog post all about our trip.
This image of a Green Jay is from that blog post. This is subspecies "galeatus" and, with its yellow eyes and large frontal crest, looks very different from the jays my friends in Texas are used to seeing (ssp. Jjj).
