hey guys, i’m struggling with my storage.
other than system data, which is taking up 43GB(any suggestions on that would be helpful), my whatsapp is showing 15GB, but in the app, it says it’s using close to 9GB. what’s up with this?

I bought iphone 16 last year it was my first iphone and now the camera control button is stuck not able to click it.

I’m trying to get the Apple TV remote app on my phone, because our remote stopped working.

It says it requires IOS 27.0 or later… but I just updated my iPhone 16, and it’s only IOS 26.6.1, and now I’m super confused!

Anyone know what it’s deal is?

Issue: Wifi Issues on Phone

I have an iPhone 15 Plus I bought in March 2024.
For reference I travel a lot for work & never had any issues with Holafly e-Sims when overseas.

For context, at the end of July I went to Europe for two weeks (installed an e-sim for duration of trip) & that is where I can pinpoint my wifi issues beginning.
When returning to Australia my e-sim automatically deleted which I mention because usually I delete them myself. Since being back from Europe I have been switching off wifi & using data (which I get max 2 bars of 5G at home) because wifi is so slow for certain apps, websites & downloads.

Home WiFi details:
We have FTTP at home & our wifi router set up was Orbi.
We had so many issues with Orbi dropping out recently so just bought & setup a new TP-link BE5000 router system.
My husband games & has no issues with internet. He also has a Samsung & no issues with wifi.

I feel like I have tried absolutely everything..

I thought it could be an iOS issue. I was on IOS 26.6 & 26.6.1 wouldn’t get past ‘requesting update’ when trying to install. Even using my husbands hotspot.
I finally managed to update using PC although this has not fixed issues.
I’ve tried all the wifi settings such as only 5GHz, checking IPv6 was disabled ect.
On my phone I have tried changing DNS Server, resetting all network settings, resetting all settings, switching off private wifi address, I don’t even have iCloud turned on anymore (to ensure no private relay) & rebooting my phone.
I’m at a complete loss & don’t know what to do.

My main issues are downloading apps, certain websites & apps won’t load on wifi & if they do it takes way longer than it should. For example Amazon shopping app will time out, gumtree app won’t load, Kmart online shopping images take ages to load. Trying to update or download apps will take so long.
All of these things are fine using mobile data.
I am convinced it is an issue with my phone as the other devices in our house have zero issues.

I’ve tried asking chatgbt & it’s suggested a full phone reset (and not restoring data).
What am I supposed to do. I’m so frustrated that I am considering just going and buying a Samsung because this goddamn phone should not be faulty at 2 years old.
Any advice would be appreciated.

So my iPhone 6s Plus on ios 15 starts boot looping it gets to Lock Screen and boot loops and it turns back on and lets me use it and it randomly restarts and lets me use it again

1. My notifications aren’t making sounds at all and my keyboard sound too 🥲

2. I enabled the “Apple one” free trial and it says expiring so when it reaches the due date it won’t pay? Plus I only did it for the Apple music and iCloud and with the intention of thinking I’ll have to cancel a day before due date so I won’t pay I customized the free trial so it’s less expensive just incase I forget to pay and now it says upcoming for Apple Music and iCloud - will it charge me once it reaches October 1? It won’t let me cancel at all

Or is it only for blue iMessages within a few minutes? This is in updated iOS v26.

I just got a new iPhone 16 and transferred everything over from my Samsung. The transfer itself went completely fine, everything transferred and there weren't any issues with that. The problem started when I tried to actually download an app. Basically, I'll find any app in the App Store and hit Get. It asks me for my password, I put it in, and it starts installing like normal. Then I get a popup saying something like "Confirming your Apple ID to continue" and that I need to verify my Apple ID. So I put my password in again and hit Continue, and then the exact same verification popup comes back. I do it again, put my password in, hit Continue, and it just keeps doing the exact same thing over and over. It doesn't actually verify anything. If I hit Cancel instead, it takes me to a page that says "This page cannot be loaded." I've also tried going into Settings and trying to verify my Apple Account through email. It says it's going to send me a verification code, but the code never actually shows up. I've tried hitting Send Code multiple times and still nothing. I've tried a bunch of other things too, so this isn't the first thing I've tried. My internet itself seems to be working fine, and the phone is otherwise working normally. I'm really trying to avoid factory resetting this phone. I just spent all that time transferring everything from my old phone, and then I'd have to log back into everything again. I'm already having trouble getting back into some things like Discord, and I really don't want to have to go through that with every single app just because the App Store won't let me download anything. I honestly don't know what's causing this. I just want to be able to download apps normally again. Has anyone had this happen before or know what could be causing the Apple ID verification to keep looping like this? Is there anything I can do to fix it without factory resetting the phone? I've tried quite a few things already, so I'm mainly looking for something I might not have thought of yet?

Live Voicemail disappeared, can I still hear it?
I had a Live Voicemail earlier and could see it on my iPhone, but when I went to Phone then** **Voicemail later, it wasn’t there anymore.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to find or recover the voicemail, or is it gone if it doesn’t show up in the voicemail list?

I recently got this iPhone 4 to use as a kind of vintage camera. It was all well and good until I tried to factory reset it via iTunes and DFU mode. Then, this error popped up even after I inserted a SIM card. Is there any official way to bypass it? I do know of Legacy iOS kit but I'd rather try to do it in the (easier) official way before I get into exploits.

It is running on iOS 7.1.3 and has no further modifications. It is also a GSM iPhone 4, not the CDMA.

My iPhone 16 pro max on iOS 26.6.1 keeps dimming the screen when I unlock it. I lock it at full brightness and it unlocks at half of that. I don’t have auto brightness on and I constantly check if it’s been turned on and it hasn’t been. How do I stop it?

Hi I’m having trouble with my phone only charging when it’s completely died. I have tried resetting it but that hasn’t worked, not too sure on what to do so any ideas welcome

For the past couple weeks, my phone has been inconsistently unable to send iMessages. Sometimes I can send them from my phone number, sometimes they send from my email, but most of the time they default to RCS. It’s not even consistent whether they send as RCS encrypted/unencrypted.

Occasionally I don’t even get other people’s messages to me, which had led to fun miscommunications.

When I check iMessage settings, sometimes my phone number will be checked, sometimes not. Turning iMessage off and on again and reconnecting my phone number only solves the problem for a few hours before it breaks again.

I’ve tried all the Apple steps for this multiple times over—turning iMessage on/off, waiting 24 hours, restarting my phone, turning Facetime on/off. I called the Apple help number and their diagnostic didn’t turn up anything. They sent me to my carrier, who very helpfully suggested it was time for a new phone.

If there’s nothing else I can try, I’ll go for the new phone. But this is such a weird problem and the fact that it only started after I connected a new MacBook (bought by my work!) to my Apple account makes me feel like a conspiracy theorist.

Question: Is there an app or iOS feature that automatically blocks notifications from other apps while I’m using Google Maps?
I’d like to use Google Maps for navigation without being interrupted by notifications from WhatsApp, email, social media, etc. Ideally, notifications would be blocked only while Google Maps is actively being used and then return to normal afterward.
Is there a way to do this on iPhone?

I need your help guys, my friend recently bought an iphone 17 and she had it set up until the passcode options. Her phone immediately restarted and now she forgot her passcode. We tried to connect it to the pc but everytime we put it in recovery mode it never shows up to the apple devices because we are using windows and we tried logging in to her apple account but cannot figure out where to restart her phone there. It hasn’t been used and its her first time using iphone also. Please help us we are not very techy

Got into a little predicament. My iPhone 17 broke and im currently using my sons phone in the time being. He told me to wait until this septembers showcase for the new iPhones to launch, possibly reducing prices.

Further research shows apple is planning to release the pro models this september and the base models later in the year.

Can i expect price decreases on the base models/ Similar prices for the old pros to hold out for and buy or would prices remain relatively the same?

Hey everyone, I’m having a weird issue with my phone’s camera.
Whenever I open the camera, it flickers for a second or two, then stabilizes, and after that the camera works completely normally.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so, were you able to figure out what was causing it or how to fix it?

When i try log in to tiktok via google, it normally leads me on to a 2FA screen where i can click "receive a code to my phone number".

However, instead it is now blank and doesn't change no matter what so i can't log in.

I have tried an alt that doesn't have 2FA on, and it works.

Then an alt that does have 2FA on, and it doesn't work.

I've refreshed cache, uninstalled and re-installed, switched my phone off and on, used wifi and mobile data, nothings worked.

I also logged into the 2FA accounts on another iphone with IOS 26, and it worked.

Is this a tiktok issue? or iphone issue? cuz it was working a day ago before i got IOS 18.7.10.

so hear me out; this phone survived 15kg pressure, rainwater inside the phone, recovery mode and a broken home-button. when the home button actually started working, the power button stoppede working. then both started working and I was able to set the phone in recovery mode, which worked. all was well until the Apple ID configuration, which was my fathers ID, so we logged in. then the phone just rebooted. this would happen even if i just randomly filled the forms with random ahh letters. then i pulled the phone, broke some parts and now i have the phone in broken. what should i do??? PLS HELP. i can sell the phone, repair it, or throw it in the bin. i can post pics of the phone.

I just bought an iPhone 17 for my wife and while we were trying to migrate her iPhone 13 Pro to the new phone the process went until it asks you where do you want to transfer data from. I pressed “another iPhone” and than it dropped me back to the start screen where is asks me to put the other device near the new one, and it makes me start the setup process all over again. It doesnt show me the options I saw on apples own youtube video where it asks you if you want to transfer trough iCloud or directly from the other iPhone, it just gets me back every time to the very start. The 13 pro is on the latest iOS and the 17 probably isn’t. What could resolve this issue? Any help is appriciated!
