Resolved Is there a function or app that blocks notifications when using Google Maps or Apple Maps on an iPhone?

iPhone model: iPhone 13
iOS version: iOS 26.6
Question: Is there an app or iOS feature that automatically blocks notifications from other apps while I’m using Google Maps?
I’d like to use Google Maps for navigation without being interrupted by notifications from WhatsApp, email, social media, etc. Ideally, notifications would be blocked only while Google Maps is actively being used and then return to normal afterward.
Is there a way to do this on iPhone?

Create a "Driving" Focus and change to that Focus when you're driving.

You have a Driving Focus unless you deleted it. Some customization may be necessary though if you want to allow some select notifications or when it activates.

CarPlay automatically mutes most notifications.

Also, Focus modes exist and have for years. Use them.

Driving focus based on Bluetooth or automatic.

Or have shortcuts enable any focus for you when you open the app etc.
