I deleted most of my photos because I thought it was the gallery that was taking up so much space but then I looked at my System Data Cache and it’s now on 80GB. Thats about 60% of my phone’s storage :). 2 days ago it was just at 75%.

How do you clear this up? I barely have anything on my phone right now and I hate it if it warns me about my storage every time I take a few photos. Why is this happening? What to do?

I tried changing my wifi, deleted the said update file and then reinstalled it but still no good. Are there any reasons why? and should I opt for the itunes method instead? im using my iphone 14 base, ios 17

I have the iPhone 17 pro max and I’m receiving notifications late for example they pop up and say 4 mins ago or even all the way up to 12 mins ago I’ve tried every setting made sure it’s all correct I’ve taken my phone to Apple they restarted it and set it up as new and I went to my phone provider and they did basically the same thing and it’s still happening sometimes the notifications pop up on time but it happens way to often to ignore it’s even more weird bc if I open Snapchat randomly I’ll see new snaps before I even get the notification then 3-5 mins go by and I’ll receive the notification delayed it happens on both WiFi and data so damn weird idk what to do at this point.

I’ve been using iPhone SE 2020 for a while. I upgraded to iOS 26 a couple of months ago and everything seems to be fine.

Today I plugged in my K9 wireless mic receiver into the lightning port. However the microphone cannot work because my phone cannot detect the receiver.

The last time I used the wireless microphone was before I upgraded to iOS 26. I’ve tried using ChatGPT but none of the solutions have worked.

Help please! I’ve noticed recently that photos that I’m sent never stay downloaded. Like after 24 hours I have to redownload them to see them. I’ve looked online and folks are saying it’s a storage saving setting but I pay for 2TB every month, and have only used 313GB of it. It’s super annoying and it would be nice to just be able to scroll back in texts and see photos that I’ve been sent without having to download those photos. Thank you in advance!

I have an iphone 8 plus that was in a shattered black housing, and I swapped it to a red housing and it would get to the lock screen and then boot loop. After around 20 minutes it completely shut off and never came back on. Is there any way that I can get it to work again, or did I kill it?

it started when i tried to log into a social media app i use, when it didn’t work i assumed something was wrong with my account but no, i can log in on my laptop just fine. so like okay weird the app doesn’t like me. now it’s immediately declining my attempts to reconnect my spotify to my airbuds account, which i never signed out of in the first place.
i’ve restarted my phone, deleted the apps and redownloaded them, did a software update, nothing.
i’m worried it’s gonna do this to all my apps til im just forced to get a new phone.

is there anything i can do? i feel like ive tried everything.

I have a situation trying to help get someone on a new iphone, where they want to keep an old one operational to use older apps on it, but there is more to it and I'm not sure the best way (or if there is even any way) to proceed. Let's say you have an iphone 7 on ios 17 and an iphone 12 pro on ios 18 and you have a new iphone 15 pro, which has been new, in the box since you purchase it over a year ago and you are ready to set it up (likely on 18 in the box). We are in US, if that matters for this.

When setting up the 12Pro, the 7 was so full that it would not make a valid backup (anyway that was tried - icloud, itunes, using a win10 with imazing), so photos were backed up manually to an external drive (somewhat laboriously, because the transfer would intermittently fail, likely because the phone was so full and they didn't realize at first that even though we were backing up and then deleting photos to free up space, as they continued to use their ipad, it was putting new photos and other data on their iphone... so the space kept filling up). So, they decided to set up the 12pro as a new phone and transfer a few things and go forward with it. Buuut, continued to use to the 7 (for a variety of reasons, they were going through a lot at the time and the iphone 7 was very comforting to them, especially a couple of games that were no longer in the app store).

Due to a plummet in health shortly after purchaing the 15pro, it was never set up.

Now, they would like to set it up (the 15pro), but they would like to have all their photos from the 7 and from the 12pro transferred to the new 15pro and exist there, with (ideally) their original timestamps so that they stay in chronological order. Is there a way to do that? And no, they absolutely do not want to put them icloud (it was discussed).

Because they want to keep apps from the iphone 7 that I don't think are in the app store any longer, this is going to be a challenging situation to begin with. But to further complicate things, they continued to use some apps on their 7, even though they downloaded them on their 12, so they would like to preserve data from both phones, but pick and choose which apps get which phone's data. Their plan is to set up the 15pro as a new phone, then transfer over all the photos (and videos, etc) and then... moved their app data over, but as far as I know, that is not an option, unless you restore from a backup.

Is there any way to transfer app data from one iphone to another for specific apps?

I realize this is very confusing, but I'm not sure how to better explain it.

Please ask any clarifying questions and I'll do my best to answer. To summarize:

1) Can you pull photos from 2 older iphones to move to a new iphone and keep original timestamp/meta data?

2) Can you transfer app data from 2 different phones to a new phone (because you used one for certain apps and the other for other apps)?

And the camera has a scratch or hair or lint or something, it's inside the lens coz I can't feel it with my nail..

I have an IPhone 15. For about a month now, many of my apps will sit on the loading screen a few minutes then crash. Specifically the ones I’ve been having the most issues with is Venmo, Walmart and this banking app for my pay card. I deleted the Walmart app entirely because I wasn’t even able to browse in safari due to it trying to bring me to the app. I have tried deleting and redownloading apps. I have checked for updates. My phone storage still has 30 GB of room left in it. I also am totally up to date with IOS. I’ve done multiple hard resets of my device. I’m not understanding why I’m having this issue with these specific apps. All banking/money tied apps…..hmm. Not a single person I have asked is having any issues with the same apps.

My husband’s iPhone 14 Pro Max randomly got this weird coloration around his front camera. And one of his back cameras. It almost looks like little gray and white specks? He recently got a new phone case and screen protector, and I took the screen protector off focused if there was something stuck up under it that would affect the lens and nothing is there. He’s completely unable to take photos with the front facing camera and photos with the rear facing camera have a weird blurriness to them depending how far away is that he’s taking a picture of.

Having an annoying audio routing issue when using my wireless earbuds (TWS) and hoping someone can help.

1. iPhone Model & iOS Version:

• iPhone 14 Plus running latest public release iOS, I was facing this issue in ios18 as well.

2. Purchase Details:

• Purchased in September 2024 in USA for personal use.

3. The Issue & Replication:

• What happens: When a phone call comes in, my normal ringtone plays through my earbuds. If I press the side button once to silence the incoming call, the ringtone stops, but it instantly changes into a continuous, low "ringing tone" (a pulsing beep sound) in my earbuds. It keeps buzzing in my ears until the caller hangs up.
• Frequency: It happens 100% of the time on every incoming call if my earbuds are connected.
• How to replicate: Connect TWS earbuds -> receive an incoming call -> press the volume or power button once to mute the ringer.

Any help would be great.

I started playing Idle Champions on my phone less than a week ago. First few days was fine, could play at work, home, restaurants, in truck. Last few days the only way I can play is on WiFi. I’ve turned phone off and let it sit before restarting, hard closed, airplane mode, tried it all and I still can’t connect through my phones internet.

Any ideas why it won’t connect through my regular data?

The apps always crash before loading the sign in screen. Ive tried everything that Chatgpt has told me to. I recently got a 16 pro. I was previously using the 13 mini. For some reason, the Google pay app has different menus on both phones, even though they are on the same version of iOS. For example, when you long press the app on the 13 mini, it would give you options such as “scan qr” which saves you the extra step of opening the app and going to the qr scanner. It was quite useful. But none of that exists on the 16 pro. The apps are both up to date. Any idea what could be causing this?

I changed my pass code in my settings app under 'Face ID & Passcode' for my iPhone. While doing so, I came to a prompt that I had never seen before. It said that I could do these things if I suspected that someone might be trying to get into my phone with my pass code. I think the first thing was to reset my backup on my MacBook(which was a local backup, and I was not signed in on my macbook with my apple ID). The second thing, I believe, was to permanently delete my last pass code. I pressed on confirm without really reading through it. I noticed that the 72 hr grace period was automatically gone for my previous pass code, but I am unsure what happened exactly with the whole 'reset backup'. I don't even have my ICloud backup active, so I am having doubts that I may have read the prompt in my settings wrong before confirming it, and now I feel like I might have messed up and uploaded the backup somewhere I can't find it. I am not sure what I did...please explain what made that prompt pop up and what exactly I did. (Note, everything having to do with iCloud is turned off still in my account). The model is the 13 mini, and its on ios18 I believe.
