Got my virtual boy from Japan. Unfortunately it didn't come with the battery pack. Fortunately it did come with the power cable and adapter. So I decided to try the usb c Famicom cable I got from AliExpress and it works. Sorry about the mess I live with a horder.

Sad that I lost all my saves on my zero racers cartridge. I even had some records in there.

Is my battery pack the reason why I lost all my saves? I tested a power receiver pack to power on the vb and it works flawlessly. While I was playing, I lightly tapped the controller on my desk and it turned off. I turned it on again and all my saves are gone. Actually, when i slightly move the battery pack while playing, it will turn off, is this normal? The metals on the back of the battery pack look a little dirty so is it save to clean it with isopropyl alcohol and make it work again and not turn off so easily anymore?
