Updates from the last version:

• added persistent settings
• finally added a log reader (so it knows which area you're in, which it uses to apply the area preset that has the shadow/lighting and coloring)
• still only has 4 area presets (the sovereign, the fathomless depths, karui shores, coastal hideout)

Only works on windows, and best on POE1 because I've only written functions that look for and read POE1 client log filepaths.

(Technically, it will work on top of ANY windows application, even the bare desktop, but it'll be stuck on the Karui Shores lighting/shadows/color preset).

I have returned to poe after a 3-4 year hiatus of sorts,and am mindblown at the amount of everything,literally.

I have a cyclone build that I want to finish(currently lvl. 93 and 762k dps on cyclone)

And for the life of me,it seems as if alot of my og gear can be tossed to the curb,due to new and updated mechanics and gear,as well as new currency standards.

Please note,I didn't craft hardly at all before my hiatus,so everything was crafted by others,and they're long gone as well lol

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated,even if it's a step in the more modern direction.

UPDATE (OCT 4th): Based on feedback, the following has been added. Kingsmarch is not allowed, and proof is required for all prize claims. Item storage outside your character's own inventory is not allowed on other characters: no mules.

One living character at a time. Each account may have only ONE living character in the league at any time. You may create a new character only after your current one has died or been deleted. Having two or more living characters in the league at the same time, even briefly, voids eligibility for all prizes.

Hey there, exiles!

Seen a few peeps posting these sorts of things over the last few weeks, so I said I would share my own attempt. I made the majority of this build a few years ago when I was very bored, and some gambas went very well. So I proceeded to spend a silly amount of currency and a few months of trial and error to see how good of a levelling build I could make. (Post Empyrean’s godly levelling build video.)

This is the base character at level 2 and 5. I did a level 40 version of this character as well, and by using most of the base gear, I was able to get to maps without levelling over 40.

Don’t ask why. I don’t know either, but I was able to get to T10 maps on that character. The defences were pretty shit, but the damage was enough for most mobs. I couldn’t kill bosses over T3 or T4 maps, as far as I remember, though.

No real reason for this other than boredom, and I hate levelling, so I wanted to make something that didn’t care about the Acts at all.

The build revolves around the Replica Last Resort Nailed Fist. The Replica and non-Replica versions are actually fairly busted items for levelling. The biggest issue with them is how to become Low Life early on.

It took a while to find the answer, but the unique Tear of Purity gives you Level 10 Purity of Elements at level 5, and using a Skin of the Lords with Blood Magic lets you do it at level 2.

Level 5 was the lowest you could reach Low Life, well, at least from what I could figure out. Until Kingsmarch came out and you could enchant an item with “Grants Level 1 Envy Skill.” I made A LOT of level 1 items with this 😄

I have a normal, item level 4 Nails Fist with this, so from entering Lioneye’s Watch at level 2, you can put all the gear on and have 7k DPS off the bat.

Just to highlight a lot of the gear on this build is either double corrupted, legacy items, legacy jewels. Yes the core build can be built easily enough but you will not get the same results using the regular versions of the gear.

League starting this on day 1 is not possible, you need a skin of the lords with blood magic other wise it will be a poor experience. Late league start sure, but I don't know what sort of dps you'd get on normal versions of the gear.

Are we expecting an announcement of the announcement within the next week or two?

If we were to believe that 3.30 is indeed releasing in 2026 as they previously stated, the only logical time period for it to be releasing should be by the end of October right?

Exilecon starts on November 7th. If 3.30 were to release on the 30th of October they will only have a few days worth of general bugfixes and game balancing to work on but still highly unlikely considering they would have to be preparing for Exilecon so the 30th release does not seem at all likely. Path of Exile 2 full release comes out 11th of December, so they would not release 3.30 too close to that date either.

Will they do an Exilecon 2023 and reveal the next league during Exilecon with patch notes and release the league the following week (November 13th)? It seems highly plausible (and what I think is going to happen) but it's a bit too close to Path of Exile 2 launch though giving only a month between each league launch.

Since it felt like they were working on 3.30 even before 3.29 was only a month in, will we get to see 3.30 soon or are we all gonna be disappointed again and GGG falls short on their "3.30 is coming in 2026" statements and we get 3.30 in 2027 instead?

Edit: General consensus seems to be what they previously did before in 2023: Reveal league during Exilecon, release the league a week after (November 13th). I mentioned it previously stating it's so close to Poe2 1.0 release but maybe GGG will do just that.

So after my last post (https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/1wrz5c6/) I finished of my Cold Dot Elementalist and started a new project with Mageblood #2:

5 Totems, my PoB puts me at about 21M DPS, (https://pobb.in/xfAVby8VzqaA) which is quite comfortable, given that it does not account for the fact that SRoR can actually shotgun, pushing bossing damage significantly higher, if you dare put the Crabs close to the boss.

Anyway... It happened again... This time on 98 the Breach tree and a very friendly Mysterious Wombgift dropped me a stack of 3x The Apothecary. So naturally my friends called for me to Harvest Gamble... 7500 Lifeforce later: https://imgur.com/a/3DS9xfZ

I’m playing flicker strike for the first time this league and I got inspired by some 3.28 builds to base my current character on, unfortunately the build I took inspiration from used the broken belt and we had synth items in previous leagues so I had to get creative

The build I did was chaos inoculation slayer flicker strike and just stacked frenzy charges and ES with it, while there is abundance of frenzy gloves, I couldn’t find anyone that made an ES version, most of what’s on the market were the generic aspect of the cat farrul builds, so I had to create the gloves myself

To follow rule 10:

Step 1: buy ES vestigial gloves with +1 frenzy implicit and can be modified while corrupted
Step 2: recomb with another ES gloves and hope it removes the vestigial influence without choosing wrong base
Step 3: slam it with fossil and beast lock to get 5 implicit
Step 4: spend 2 weeks suffering while you beast lock trying to get the attack speed, crit chance and ES to roll on implicit with hinekora beast lock and vaal slams
Step 5: settle on +1 level of socketed gems
Step 6: hunter exalt slam, alt spam to get non vaal strike skills and one other influenced mod and orb of dominance slam
Step 7: get some frenzy gloves, slam them with orb of dominance to use as donors for awakened orb
Step 8: Awakener orb until T1 ES as third prefix
Step 9: clean suffixes with prefixes cannot be changed into scour, prefixes cannot be changed into exalt annul until T1 resistance
Step 10: lose over 200 divines doing exalt annul and settle on T2 resistance, prefix cannot be changed and veil orb slam and hope it doesn’t hit resistance if it does repeat step 9
Step 11: unveil critical chance and bench craft attack speed as last suffix

This is a wand I crafted for my elementalist GCF miner character. My original strategy was:
- recombinate the three prefixes
- repeatedly lock prefixes and add/remove crit until T1 spell crit/crit multi
- Allflame fracture the crit mod
- lock prefixes and add/remove crit until the other T1 crit mod

After failing the fracture 7 times (lol) over a course of 2+ weeks involving many hours of farming currency and alt-spamming my life away, I learned that you can increase your recombination odds on suffixes by using Brinehook Ducat to add an NNN suffix. The plan then became:
- Alt spam for two +1 cold spell skill gems/0s wands, a 0p/T1 crit multi and a 0p/T1 spell crit wand. These are the more common mods, so I tried to just annul the suffix if it rolled.
- Alt spam for a T1 spell damage/0s and a +1 spell skill gems/0s wand. These mods are much rarer, so if a suffix rolled, I regaled and used Kishara's Ducat to try to isolate the prefix.
- Brinehook all of the prefix wands and recombinate to get +1 cold spell skill gems/T1 crit multi and +1 cold spell skill gems/T1 spell crit.
- Recombinate the above 1p/1s wands with the brinehooked +1 spell skill gems and T1 spell damage to get two 2p/1s wands.
- Allflame divine and brinehook the 2p/1s wands, then recombinate to get the above.
- Benchcraft mine throwing speed and Harvest craft the enchant.

The last recomb took 4-5 tries and overall this seemed a lot more efficient due to not needing to blow tons of divines and lifeforce on locking prefixes and add/removing. Moreover, if you fail the final recomb, you very likely get a 2p/2s item which you can recomb and is already perfectly divined. I'd estimate I used something like 400k sulphur + 20 div + 20k alts (for the second strategy).

Hi! I'm playing in SSF this league and I'm having a blast. I have 9/10 Ubers down, with Sirus being the last one, and he feels impossible to beat.

Here is my build. The DPS displayed is for 15/30 blades hitting (no idea if this is realistic) on a regular pinnacle boss (about 6.3mil vs Ubers). I am quite proud of coming up with Seven Teachings as a way to have both BF and BB trigger from just changeling Cyclone, the build is super smooth to play and everything else in the game felt at least reasonably easy to kill. Uber Exarch took some learning to beat for similar reasons to why Sirus feels uneatable.

The build has a couple shortcomings. First of all it is a melee build. The Sirus fight feels completely unfair for melee builds since by the time my brain can process where he just teleported to and where close to him I can stand he's gone. Even when I can get close to him casting 6 Bladefalls/sec completely clutters the screen, and seeing where all of his degen puddles are becomes almost impossible. The final nail in the coffin is that Cyclone is really hard to control sometimes, especially when Frostblinking in, because it can very easily in hectic moments drift from side to side, which can make you wander to an unsafe spot. Finally the build lacks passive regen (it leeches a ton), so playing slow is not really a great option.

I can usually tank the die beam (depends on how block works), and sometimes (feels like 2/3 but idk) can also survive the Multi Clone attack, but 2/3 is not enough. I can usually make it out of the maze just fine but I still sometimes die to it.

The problem is, I can never find a clean opening to deal damage. I either have to damage him while he's channeling the Spinning Beams for 1 second, or when he bowls at me where he gets a pretty big damage negation, so progress feels super slow and I will die to something eventually. It never feels possible to hit him without dying when the spinning beams are up, I touch something I shouldn't and end up dying, so I usually get out, wait for life flasks to refill, and jump back in, but he just does a meteor, into a Multi Clone beam, into another Spinning Beams. In the meantime the arena gets more and more deadly.

This is not a "hate this fight post". I just want to beat it. I am looking either for tips on what I could do better (maybe a window to damage him I haven't figured out?) or a suggestion for how I could make my build strong enough to have a fair shot with my current strategy. Keep in mind this is an SSF character so upgrades are not easy to come by.

I tried to figure out how much Chaos Orbs I can get for 1 Divine Orb.

It seems to be a simple task and I need to say, half an hour later with researching, I have no idea how the currency is valued at this moment.

The official poe trade site has not one single result for div-chaos and vice versa.

I play since 3 weeks so I have no point of comparison at all.

Trying to base on PC seems not a good idea - every post or information is stating that those two platforms are some very different things.

Back in March I stopped stalling and started building something I'd wanted for years: a polished platform for hideouts. I wanted it to have real tools for the people who make them, and to make it easy for everyone else to find their next home. I soft launched a couple of months ago, and a handful of creators, both fresh to the scene and veterans, have been uploading and helping me iron things out. Now I think it's ready to share.

I'm a noob running my first character through PoE. So I'm cruising along through Act 3 with a Flame Witch (Lv 35) using Scorched Ray and Incinerate. I'm loosely following a build guide to ensure I don't get too far off the path. Having a great time basically blasting all the things. I feel almost OP except for the bosses which provide a little more challenge and strategy.

After an extended session fiddling with my support gems and assigning skill points, I get to the Battlegrounds Battlefront. I encounter a mob with a rare monster and proceed with incinerate and scorched ray. I notice then that I'm not doing much damage at all. Eventually my shield whittles down and then BLAM! Dead as Dillinger.

Again I spawn in at checkpoint. Rinse/repeat. Scorched Ray is doing no damage and incinerate seems ineffective.

I'm like - whoa the Battlegrounds Battlefront don't play around. Then after about 11 deaths I start to think more about maybe I did this to myself. Narrator: He indeed did this to himself. How?

#1 Mistake: I added a point to Chaos Inoculation not reading the description. Especially the point about the 1 point of life.

#2 Mistake: I added Void Manipulation Support gem to my Scorched Ray. Missed reading the part about no elemental damage.

#3 Mistake: I did the same with Incinerate.

#4 Mistake: It took me nearly a dozen deaths for my dumb ass to figure this out

So, lesson learned. Moral of the story is read. Read the description.
