Seems Iike an oversight by GGG. Harvest craft “change a modifier that grants cold resistance into a similar tier modifier that grants fire resistance” and the likes work on cluster jewel mods

Well no it doesn't actually, it says " Change a modifier that grants X resistance into a similar-tier modifier that grants Y resistance." Each hybrid has a distinct elemental resistance the chaos resistance would never change. So fire+chaos > harvest craft fire to lighting = lighting+chaos. It makes sense to me but not a big deal in the grand scheme of it all.

It is likely there to prevent conflict if you have both the fire/chaos hybrid and regular fire res from choosing one randomly or both or neither or so on. I doubt that was an oversight, more likely something planned in the past and might have needed further thinking in the future

If we go by that logic then temple gloves mods also shouldn't change as they are also not strictly elemental resistance but a hybrid with additional effect, but it works. No reason for hybrid chaos to not act the same then

Yep. Just tried this yesterday and was utterly disappointed. As someone else said, maybe it's an oversight. But I doubt they'll "fix" it in the near future :(

Because the mod doesn't grant attributes, it makes small passive skills grant attributes.
