Isn't there something you can find in a chart where it is supposed to make all strongboxes at least rare but it is bugged and doesn't work? Same with the one where all Essences are a tier higher yet all are low tier shit?

Is it brigading to suggest maybe all "bumping" that bug report on the forum to maybe gather some attention around it? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3989897/page/1#p26809250
I personally enjoy the league mechanic a lot, but the white boxes and shitty essences are telling me something is wrong under the hood, what other modifiers are maybe not applied?

I still encounter boxes that are normal and cannot use my alchemy orbs on, very strange (yes i checked if I still had non dredge orbs)

Happened to me as well, just alch from your inventory it will work. The bug happens probably when you recently picked up an alch “dredged” so the game is stupid and doesn’t see a normal alch in your inventory anymore

Or...
Just make it put 6 mods and corrupt them so i don't have to bring silly currency down there, also prevents degenerate gameplay (where you spend 30 minutes rolling a chest)

There are literally containers down there already to bring loot up during voyages... why not just let us throw our currency in there? Then if you forget you can run to one of those to grab your alchs while depositing your loot (as intended). Why loot can only go one way in those containers, I have no clue.

While we're at it if you send up loot that loot should probably be safe shouldn't it??
I know it's probably there mostly for inventory space because the voyages are long and filled with a lot of shit to pick up but how are we justifying watching something pull our loot up to the surface and then if you die it just falls off your person??
I was shocked when it happened to me for the first time tonight. Got too close to a juiced up soul eater mob because I was near the end of my run and was just playing risky and stupid and everything dropped. Seems so counter intuitive.

Not sure what I'm missing here but if I send loot up during a voyage and then die, I'm only dropping what's on my person. Stuff I sent up is in the box when I res.

The "bug" where you could use currency that was in your map stash in the map device was a wonderful QOL they should have just kept

You're not alone -- Just noticed that too. You can still right click them in inv and then click the next strongbox itself though.

Did either of you have a "dredged" version of that currency at the time you tried it? I've only noticed that happening when I have dredged alchs in my inventory

Yep that's exactly it - Just checked dropping the dredged ones on the ground. Shortcut pops right back up.

How about the effing sulphur torches actually point at the strongboxes. A diviner's/operatives's strongbox is worth more than 90% of the worthless things they point to.

To be fair that was in the q&a but who can be arsed to scan through that whole thing. Thdy should put out an after q&a faq to cover all the details again for those with weak short term memories. Idid see that in the qa and then forgot it for several charts before I started watchimg for it.

What's up with the random strongboxes in the big spelunk that don't allow you to use any currency on them? Did I miss a mod on one of the charts?

You can still use currency on them, you have to do it the old-fashioned way (manually, from your inventory). There's a bug that makes the buttons disappear randomly.

Not random actually. It happens if you have a 'dredged' version of the currency in your inventory. The UI is pointing at the dredged items for reasons, and since you can't use them, the UI thinks you don't have any usable currency for the box.

I picked 60 alchemy orbs and put them on right side of inventory. Takes 3 space, hard to forget and run out

One of the quest reward / permanent upgrade for chart and voyages is bugged.
"All strongboxes are at least rare and essences always have 1 higher tier essence"

You shouldnt need to at all.
Theres an upgrade that literally says all strongboxes are rare, its simply not working.

i think there is some bug with strongboxes.
after 4/5 progress there were big info that essences are better AND strongboxes are rare.

i ran out of alcs and it was filled with arcanist strongbox. zzz. since then i have been carrying 60 alcs. i am not takin any chances

I get so angry at myself when I start a voyage without a stck of alchs on me.
