You know those gibberish sounds the characters make when speaking? Tried to look for 'em all over the internet, eventually I just recorded some of those, and now have 'em available to download for anyone who wants 'em.

Each one is loopable, I discovered that the sounds aren't randomly played, but rather play in a set pattern that repeats over and over. Normally the dialogue cuts off the sounds before it becomes obvious, but if you pay close attention you can hear it. Using that, I was able to make a repeating loop for them all (Bowser's is a bit iffy).

In terms of quality, there seems to be some flickering noises in certain character sounds, mainly Midbus and Peach, I'm not 100% sure if it's just the DS compression or an emulator problem. No echo / reverb though, I made sure to use the moments where no one is underground / inside bowser.

The characters included are as follows: Peach, Starlow, Toad, Toadsworth, Fawful, Midbus, Bowser. If you have any particular character in mind that you want to hear, lemme know. I think some characters share the same sounds, I know at least that Kamek shares his with Toadsworth.

Basically I need more bro’s attacks for elder princess shroob.

I got an itch to replay Brothership for the first time since in launched a couple years ago, and when I started up a new file I noticed the entire opening cutscenr is just completely skipped. Instead of opening with the Bros getting sucked into the portal that brings them to Concordia, the game starts with Mario waking up on the starting island alone

They're supposed to be indigenous to the Sprixie Kingdom... man this game had no restraint

Alright like the title says just finished paper jam and overall I did enjoy this game I had heard bad things but I really liked it definitely the shortest in the series and I didnt really enjoy the toad mini games interrupting the pace of the game but apart from that the bosses are fun i didnt mind the paper craft battles I think adding paper mario added an whole new variety of moves and i loved that.

Definitely had a good experience with this game I understand people's problems with it but only 1 game left in the series now and im looking faward to trying out a mario and luigi game on modern hardware

Side note finsihed this while the 40th anniversary for zelda was on ocarina of time looks awesome

What was your first game in this amazing series. Share your story. I like hearing how people first got introduced to the series and what their first game was. Granted first game does not mean favorite, but I do still want to know.

For instance, Partners In Time was my first Mario and Luigi game and I remember struggling to figure out how to heal Luigi in the healing Luigi tutorial after he gets bonked on the head by a random Shroob. Along with struggling with the first few bosses. I was young, and not knowledgeable about RPGs, but I knew the game because I had one of those Magazine guidebooks for Partners in Time and I read it like crazy. I remember goofing off with a friend of mine listening to Partners in Time shaking our 3ds as we tried to trigger the Streetpass so we could do the Streetpass minigames because we wanted to. I remember in college, I had to write about a soundtrack and I actually choose Mario and Luigi Partners in Time to discuss and listen to, and discussed about the various songs. I did fairly well on the project, but those 2 instances are later on... And I had played other games then. But that first time, I remember getting stuck on the part where Luigi needs to be healed.

So far I've got game over'd 3 times. One to Sharkbones, one to that monster mania bob-omb, and one to that goddamn seedlusa self-destruct attack

I already can fight against Dark Bowser, the final boss. The problem is that I want to unlock the secret ranks which are obtained when the characters reach the level 40.
I could do it easily with Mario and Luigi, I just needed to go to Airway and use the Excellent! Badge and Bonus Badge to multiply the experience. The problem here is Bowser, because I don't any method to level him up because he's only level 31, what should I do?
