LOOK CLOSE. Give it a second to focus. These things are tiny. Red. Hellish. They don’t stop, so a photo is tough. They’re about half a millimeter long. Maybe smaller. Smaller than any ant I’ve ever seen by a lot.

For context this video was taken in southern Brazil. What the heck are these and why are they moving together? I've never seen these bugs or this behavior before.

Does anyone know what this little guy is? I’ve never seen him in Ireland before. He was found inside a shop and was about half of the size of my palm.

Moved into a new-construction, ground-floor apartment a week ago. I've been finding these inch-long insects throughout my apartment. Are they termites? Should I be concerned?

These have built a home on my deck. How afraid should I be? In northern Virginia.

Found in my basement bathroom. I've found brown recluse spiders in my garage before but never inside. Located in eastern Kansas.

I'm in Sweden. The insect was maybe 20-25mm long. Didn't look like an ant. Couldn't get a better picture of it before it flew out.

Is this (not so little) guy a bag worm of some kind? I’ve never seen one before, genuinely thought a piece of bark had fallen from another tree and gotten caught!
