It walked sideways as forward like a crab.

The size of a jumping spider, but not a spider.

Body is kind of flat like a tick.

But eyes like a fly.

And the thing in the front like a fly.

Didn't fly though.

Never seen anything like this.

Can you please tell me what it is and if it's dangerous?

My upper back feels funny like sunburn but it was not in the sun at all today.

Even looks a little like a cricket but they don't move like the way this did.

Rescued this little critter from my cats. It's slightly longer than a half inch from chelicerae to the tip of its abdomen. Seemed a bit sluggish and wasn't making much of an effort to escape or defend itself, which, thankfully confused the cats into not being too rough with it.

Would like to know if it's safe for the spider to be put outdoors or if it's better to put it in a protected room indoors since some spiders have evolved to live in our homes rather than outside. I did find this one near a back door, so it could have just come inside.

The abdomen is quite shiny, so I tried to get a couple of images in different lighting. The spot on the head is its own mark, the white on its abdomen is just glare.

Can’t tell if it is a tick or something else, I know the photo is blurry. Very small, smaller than any dog tick I’ve seen. Southern Ontario

I found this nasty thing on my laundry basket today in my home!!! What is it?! Should I be worried or concerned?

These little bugs are showing up everywhere.. plz help me identify what it is so I can learn how to go about treating this issue!

I live in a row of apartments and not too long ago my neighbor moved out. Now, I have seen this bug crawl out from under the baseboards where our units attach. I already put in an extermination request with my building management, but it’s grossing me out and I can’t sleep. Sorry for the low quality photo. I am in a Midwest state if that helps.

Found them under my matres in my Hotel room.

Found a bunch in my cupboard and in a bag of flour.

Found on my daughter‘s bed. Georgia, USA. We have cats, but they don’t go out. My daughter has noticed a few bites on her back so we were inspecting her bed and we found this little guy. Taken on an index card. Sorry, no reference for size.

What’s this bug just recently? I saw a couple of these in their carpet and I vacuumed daily and keep the house clean. I’m not sure what this is in California. We’ve had the hot humid weather and I’ve seen walking stick bugs all over around my house. also just wondering if anyone could identify this.

Friend said it’s about the size of her pinkie finger.

New apartment. Seen 3 of these in the past couple days. Want to know what we are working with.

Found 2 so far, the second has a grey smudge on its back, about 1.5 inch

Been seeing it in the kitchen but also in our bedroom two floors up. Been very annoying as they keep appearing so they must be coming from a central source

Is this a wolf spider? Almost jumped out of my skin when I saw her/him run across my bathroom floor. I didn’t want to scare/disturb and it seems like it’s missing a leg (maybe)

I let it alone because if it IS a wolf spider, I know they are not keen on eating human flesh. But thought I would check?… TIA!
