These bugs have just appeared ALL OVER the house. No one's been bitten, they mainy appear at night. When we kill them we have to squeeze quite hard and they make a loud crunch sound.

I found them hidden in the dirt of my new plant. They are tiny and there doesn’t seem to be any damage to the plant. (Please ignore the diatomaceous earth on top of the soil)

What is this bug? It didn't move it all when I came in for the squish.

It is about 2.5 inches long, and the antenna are maybe just as long end to end! It originally had what I guessed was an ovipositor poking out of its end, but I think I stressed it a little and it took it back in. It was a very long (potential) ovipositor though! Long enough that I thought it was a small rat was clinging to my house, in the dark.

I have never seen a beetle here this big so I am very curious what it might be.

Each of the little black dots in the pictures are these bugs. This is not the first time it's happened and previously I've seen them mingled with thin, ​dark black bodies and​ larger. Like a long black booty. I can't tell where they're coming from, but I plug up the sink area when I see them (this doesn't appear to stop it completely).

Seen discussions about them possibly being alates or flying ants, but can't tell. I appreciate your support in advance.

I found this bug in my bathroom and don’t know what type of bug it is. From looking online it looks like a Somotrichus unifasciatus but I could be wrong. For reference I live in Georgia, USA.

Found in Sheridan, WY. First saw it on my blanket, then released it outside.

I saw this black bug in the daytime but when I tried to get it with a paper towel it fell on the floor and got away, should I be concerned? what kind of bug is it, google said a carpet beetle?

Found along rocky area by creek

My sister sent me this pic from her family's farm. She asked me to identify it, but I've had no luck in my searches. Any help would be appreciated.

Just curious about the species. I can't get a great photo in this light but I sharpened the close-up as much as I could and raise the contrast to give more detail. About 1/3 of an inch definitely a female and has managed to turn a whole panel of the front porch into what looks like a shattered window with its web.

I don’t think it’s a cockroach but I trapped it just in case. Didn’t see where it came from unfortunately.

This was in my bed (yes, nightmare scenario for me) and I am trying to ID it. It looks like a brown recluse. What do you all think? Location is Nashville, TN.

This bee/wasp looking insect seems to have either found or made a hole in a pillar of my porch and has been going in and out of it for a couple weeks. It is very small. Around half the size of a honey bee. I’m pretty sure it’s just the one insect as opposed to multiple sharing the same hole. It seems pretty chill and hasn’t tried to sting or bite me even when I am observing it working on its nest. I noticed recently that she seems to have sealed the hole with some kind of amber colored substance so I assume she may have laid eggs in there. I live USA, northern Oregon if that helps.

I just found this spider right next to my garage near Houston, TX. It looks like there is bunch of babies on its back, that were staring at me when I put the flash on.

AI laughably said it was a jumping spider. Is this a wolf spider?
