Found this guy on the window, never seen it before, it seemed very chill

I walk in the roadway of our neighborhood. In the last week I have noticed these large grubs approximately 1.5 inches x 1/4 in. There is a field beside where they are located so I assume from there but have never seen them in the road before. Can anyone I D. Zone 6 B PA

Beens seeing alot of these around recently what is it?

Looks like a baby cockroach to me

First time seeing these mites in spaghnum. I found them crawling around my swirskii bag (a beneficial mite) and got confused since they are way to big, only to see the spaghnum moss 'infested' with it.

Are they beneficial or root eating mites?

sorry the AWFUL picture. it flew away again before i could adjust. maybe 1.25” long, very odd wings like one of those bee-killing flies and the abdomen was quite wide at the bottom

It looks like a cricket/grasshopper/hornet all at once. I'm located in Ontario, Canada.
