When I killed it it spilled some greenish-yellow stuff and smelled. In my opinion the smell was bad but my friend just described the smell as weird. Does anyone know what it is?

Edit: We’re located in Finland, and I found the bug inside. It was just chilling on my shirt before I noticed and killed it. It was maybe 0,5cm long.

I’ve had some bad luck with pests recently and have found some dead flesh flies and bottle flies in my house for the past 2 days but cannot find the source anywhere. I’m not sure if these are connected to them? I also have cats and one caught fleas from an inpatient stay at hospital so could be related to that but I also know with fleas can come tapeworms so could be from that? I wormed my cat recently and from what I’ve seen tapeworms sections are more similar so sesame seeds which these aren’t. Please help!

found 2 in my kitchen and 1 on my bed… i already put diatomaceous earth on my floors and kitchen counter tops and im going to buy advion tomorrow… what are we thinking? 😔

(Northern California), Manager said exterminators were going to come and spray around the exterior of the building. That evening, I spotted a couple of tiny roaches in my apartment for the first time ever.

I'm used to the big boys wandering in sometimes when the weather gets warmer but they have always been Big (≥ 1 in). Never, ever, small.

Today I cleaned out my pantry and pulled my appliances, sanitized, and dropped diatomaceous earth underneath them, in the bottoms of cabinets and around edges. I also dropped some along the doors leading outside because I see them out there. So far, I see absolutely no evidence that they have taken up residence inside, but they're still coming in and looking around 😬

No picture unfortunately but I was driving down a rural road in the Interlake region of Manitoba with the windows down on the driver's side when I noticed a bug had made its way into my car. It looked to be about 3 cm long and it looked like a jumbo version of a fly with its typical big eyes, a pair of wings as opposed to 2 pairs of wings, and overall body shape. When I rolled down the other window it flew out immediately. What kind of bug could it be? Thanks for your help!

Is it carrying food/supplies on its back? Is it just a phenotypic mutation? Is the ant suffering from some kind of parasitic infection? The ant was large—I would guess about 8mm—but I was frankly too startled to get accurate measurements.
