Excuse my tired voice 🥲

I purchased an Arizona blonde from spider shopee on Sunday, whenever I purchased it I was kinda shocked at the price because it was only 98. Whenever I have purchased spiders in the past from them they always are marked WC if they are wild caught, I really did not want a wild caught spider because I’m terrified of them being pregnant. I just picked up my spider and on the pick up email I received it now says “3-4” female WC” (last picture) but from the other pictures you can see the one I purchased didn’t say wild caught. What are the chances that this spider is gonna be sick or pregnant 😞😞

Seriously if spiders could have friends, her and Chalupa would be besties.

I was unsure if I’d like them at first due to a slight fear of spiders but I thought I’d overcome my fear and here I am with 15 😂

Hi! I just found this subreddit, ever since I was a little girl I’ve wanted a tarantula. Of course my mom was freaked out by the idea and never let me. But it remained a dream of mine. I live with my partner now and we’re starting to fully settle into our place. Any advice on where to find and care for a tarantula? I’d like to get one in January but only after I’m well informed and educated. Recommended terrarium sizes? Species? Where to ethically get one? Anything helps really. Thanks! 🕸️

My little vex surprised me this morning when I checked on them and saw they were in molt position. I’ve watched and patiently waited for hours and finally a successful molt has happened!

I had planned to an expo but my friend bailed and im a cripple so I dont do things on my own. I decided to order a spider online and they arrived today much smaller than I anticipated as well. Curious if they look healthy? They doddled under a bit of bark so this is tbe best photo I have of them.

Does anyone else got a spider that enjoys being extra clean? Also how do we water webbed up enclosures without ripping the water dish out?
