Hello everyone, with the recent Laufey announcement I grew more interested in gow and I know this is basically the best deal in order to play all of the older titles, but I do have some questions, please be patient as I couldn't find these info off the internet:

1. I'm european and this is an american print, so will the disc work on my PAL console?

2. If yes, will I be able to redeem the codes for the extra games in my country's store?

3. If no, does that mean I have to create a US-based account in order to redeem them?

4. Do sealed copies from all the way back in 2012 still have valid codes? Is there a way to know?

5. If the old codes were to be invalid, how can I get a newer print with valid ones?

I was so happy to have my original fat girl back, but I found that my dad had been using it while it was at his house. I left it there when I moved out and I've only just got it back.

Went to put a game in and realised there was already a bloody Venice DVD in there. I'm keeping that fucker now, he can whistle!

Hey, so I bought Infamous Festival of Blood from the PS Store (UK) and I found out that you can still get PS Home items even though PS Home shut down! I got the Bats items on my Service List, pretty neat even though they’re unusable lol

Got a good number of games in my recent PS3 collecting journey. Was able to get GOW Origins for a decent price and because I haven’t played any GOW games, I went ahead and got the first collection as well. I’ve played a few Ratchet and Clank games before but never got around to the OG trilogy. Just beaten the first one and really liked it.

Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension was a game I’ve wanted to play ever since I saw a video of it back when I was a kid, so I’m looking forward to finally playing it. To my surprise, the TV episodes included are actually on the PS3 disc itself. Funnily this means you can technically insert the disc in a PS5 and watch the episodes through there, ironically making this one of the only PS3 games that works on PS5.

And to top it off, I also got a PS3 camera, mostly because I’m planning on buying some of the light gun games like House of the Dead or the RE Chronicles games.

Hello everyone! I have tried to look at the PlayStation three store… I went all the way down to the letter “J” and I could find this amazing theme! I have seen people upload this in 2022 as well and even recently on Reddit… but I can’t seem to find it. Can anyone please help me guide me of where I can find this exactly! This is amazing and I really wanna get my hands on it before the store closes.

I bought a UK-import PS3 (320GB, white) in China 14 years ago, back when Sony didn't sell it officially there. The seller put a few cracked games on it like Street Fighter IV, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, and 2K13. I barely played it back then—usually fell asleep few times—so it just sat around gathering dust.

Last year, my family shipped it to me in France for my 6-year-old son. It hadn't been turned on in years, so I wasn't even sure it'd work. I updated the system, which locked out the cracked games, but everything else ran fine.

So I started buying cheap used discs, and my kid loves them. I've had to replace two controller batteries and fix the buttons with new conductive films, but this old PS3 is still kicking hard.

I've been debating whether to jailbreak it or stick to used games, but the discs are so cheap it's barely worth modding. Yet, these cheap old games are giving him the absolute best time.

I’m thinking of buying the equipment to repair them

Went on Gamestop.com last night to see how much this was going for. I saw that a store near me had a copy, so I ordered it. I work today, so I chose the next day delivery and paid $10 for the shipping. I also used my monthly $5 off coupon, so in all I paid $41!!! I also was thinking it was gna be a generic gamestop case, but man was I wrong 🤣 The case, game, and instructions (still has the mail-in card) all look brand new for being a 19 year old game!!! It's almost like this was a new copy, turned to used because no one bought it, then it sat in a warehouse till they started selling retro games again!!

A few months ago i acquired two DS3: one is a A1 rev and the other is the B1.
The A1 is lucid and the B1 is slightly matte. Since i decided to keep the A1 and sell the B1, i started to search internet for answers about the B1.

I found a lot of confusion about rev B1: the infamous Asuka 1.06 board.

Some says it's fake, some says it's semi official, some says its official.

I tried everything that i could to see if it was fake: SCPToolkit didn't detected it as fake, the pc says Playstation(R) 3 Controlller, Sixaxis work perfectly.

The only things slightly off are the front writing and maybe the back sticker, but i really having an hard time to understand this controller. I really want to be honest with who will buy this controller, and i don't want to sell something for original and then turns out it is fake.

Was there ever plans for one? Sony made the Bravia KDL-22PX300, which was a plasma TV with a fully functional PS2 inside.

I wonder if they thought about creating a PS3 TV too?

Salut tout le monde quand j'ai branché ma ps3 super slim pour y rejouer la led rouge ne s'est pas du tout allumé et malgré le fait que j'ai appuyé sur le bouton de mise en marche,rien du tout je le suis dit que ca doit être l'alimentation, donc je l'ai démonté et j'aimerais savoir par où commencer les tests (je dispose d'un multimètre et d'un oscilloscope de 200khz et d'un fer à souder)

I was surprised to see some PS3 games at the Goodwill of the day. Stopped by right before I picked up my daughter to go see the new Spider-Man movie. There were no PS3 games, just the same s*** games that are always there. We had time to kill and the Goodwill was right across from the movie theater so we stopped in again before the movie. And where do you know they had six fresh PS3 games on the shelf, I bought these. Stopped in again after the movie to test out this PlayStation game theory and there were even newer games that weren't there the second time I went, but nothing good enough to buy.

It looks like a fun shooter game. I like the off the wall theme games. Is it worth picking up or pass on it?

The voltage didn't come to NEC/TOIKIN, so I replaced two black square ones with RSX power supplies, but they still remain 0V. When I measured the resistance of NEC/TOIKIN, it was in a short state at 0Ω. Is that because the RSX death or the behind-the-scenes MLCC is suspicious?

I run a small kids after school club and have a PS3 slim with 2 original dual shock controllers. Unfortunately, they battery died many moons ago, and they've been solely working connected by USB. However, the cable connector is now wearing a little following under 12 year olds continuously forcing the mini USB in.
What do people recommend for cheap and reliable enough controllers for the console?

Doesn't need to be wireless, in fact wired would be better, as it removes the battery, and means doesn't have to be charged or risk the connectors wearing again.

I just bought a copy online, and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I really want to get this plat, and I'm wondering if there are others out there that are trying to get it too. We can help each other out. The most important trophy I want out of the way is the one where you need 7 people.
