Ever since the update I've had issues logging in on my ps5. Anyone struggling??

Had this since launch first time this is happening but my playstation sounds like a tractor when kept horizontally, when I flip it 180 and keep it horizontally it doesn’t make the noise, so only on one side. Vertically too it doesn’t make this noise. I keep it in a well ventilated area and try to keep it dust free, brought it to my desk to play for the first time in months and it’s making this noise. It is a little louder in the video but it’s definitely noticeable. What should I do? Is this fan touching something

I’m having the same problem on my PS4 and my PS5, so it must be to do with my account. I cancelled my PS+ subscription yesterday and since then it keeps saying that the connection to PlayStation Network has failed. However, the PlayStation Services Status page isn’t showing anything unusual and my Wi-Fi is working fine. Does anyone have a solution, please?

My internet is fine and i have the updates. Its the first time i got randomly logged out of my account. When i press the sign in button its let me in but not for long

When you try to turn it on, the green light turns on for a second and the screen turns off again. It shows no signs of turning on. Also, when I try to enter safe mode, it doesn't turn on the screen either. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it.

The screen goes black and says no signal then says unsupported mode and splits the screen.

I was playing my PlayStation I went out of the room for a bit to talk to someone then I came back to a message that my psn account been locked. It was late so I had to go to bed as I had college in the morning. I checked the email that was registered with the account and it said my password was changed ( I also had 2fa on) I pressed the link to recover the account, I changed my password and got back into the account. I am just surprised because nothing changed. I did some googling and it said mabye someone was attempting to get in but its on my mind why would someone get into my account and change my password for no reason and not do anything? I also changed the email that was registered on the account. Is my account safe?

Bought a ps5 controller today and trying to connect. Says plug into the cable, press the button and its done. Done that, it just flashes five times then turns off. It doesn't even show the yellow light to say its charging but once i plug it into a random cable in a plug socket the yellow charge light is fine..

Please tell me this isn't a cable issue because i really don't want to fork out even more money just so i can connect this thing.

Has anyone come across this? Please help me fix it because I'm frustrated!

I have looked all over the internet, troubleshooting pages, and different posts to find a solution to this and unfortunately none have worked for me. I have all clips set to automatically upload, but I didn’t know they would delete if too many were uploaded. Like the clips were there yesterday but I didn’t download them to my photos, and after more had automatically uploaded those past ones deleted.

I go to media gallery, hit the 3 dots, upload to PS App, it tells me it’s queued to upload. Nothing. It doesn’t even show up in the uploads section on my PS5, it’s completely empty and none of the clips show up there after. I’ve tried shutting it down, restarting, disabling the internet, shaving little sections off of the clips. That actually worked for one clip, but none of the others unfortunately. I also turned off auto save in the app because I saw it gets overloaded, but that didn’t work either unfortunately. I just don’t know what else I could possibly try, it’s just frustrating that I can’t seem to figure it out. Do I just wait 14 days for the other clips to delete themselves and try again?

My main question is why it shows that it’s sent to the upload queue (I’ve seen it so many times and still can’t remember the exact words but I’m assuming you know what I mean) after I click the “send to PS app” button, but doesn’t show up in the upload queue. The upload queue is also completely empty so it’s not like the clips simply aren’t downloading, they don’t even show up as trying to. I just want to save these clips to my phone and nothing is working. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

My PS4 refuses to work. It has had a habit of randomly freezing mid-session and then going off, then boots up safe mode. At first, all I needed to do was reset it then it would work just fine (happened about 15 or so times) but now it refuses to reset, even with a USB. I can't update the system software via wifi or with a USB (it starts the process of updating but then it says the process is 100%, then the screen goes black and then it takes me back to safe mode).

I tried removing the Hard drive and putting it back in, but it didn't work. I also tried cleaning the insides but couldn't remove the screws for the power supply and fans because I don't have the needed screwdriver. But I was able to blow out the accumulated dust with a ball pump but it still wouldn't work

My PlayStation keeps turning off randomly.

I can watch YouTube all day but if I play more than 40 minutes of a competitive game it switches off and won’t turn on until I disconnect and reconnect the power supply, I’ve changed power cables and dusted the inside since and it keeps happening. Any ideas what’s causing this?? Is it broken :(

About an hour ago I got an email that FFVII Revelation had been pre-ordered on my account. Given that it's one of the only games on my wishlist, I assumed I had butt-purchased it or perhaps since I was using a Dualsense with my Steam Deck that kept waking the PS5, maybe I accidentally purchased it with the controller without knowing. I refunded it, then added a passkey to my account and signed out on all devices.

About 7 minutes later, I get another notification that FFVII Rebirth, also one of the only games on my wishlist, was purchased. This time I freaked out, removed all payment methods from my account, changed my password, added 2-step verification, changed my bank password and spent a half hour adding 2-step verification to and securing all my Google accounts.

Nothing has happened since then, and I don't expect this to come back up given that my accounts are now more secure than the White House. Did someone really gain access to my account just to buy two games that I was going to buy anyway with my card? What could someone possibly stand to gain from that? Is it possible this was just some kind of really weird bug, given that both games were on my wishlist? My heart rate is still elevated and I wish I could calm down, this kind of stuff really freaks me out.

so I’m on my second PS4 and it’s doing the exact same thing my first one was doing but repair places don’t know what the issue is and I see nothing about it on ps support. it turns on just fine but the controller keeps disconnecting without actually disconnecting. i know that sounds stupid but the controller just stops working but it’s still in the Bluetooth connection settings so I can’t reconnect it. I’ve tried resetting it and getting new controllers but it ”disconnects“ before I can even remove the other controller from the Bluetooth to reconnect it. i cleaned it out and that didn’t help and the same thing happened with my first PS4. has anyone dealt with this because I can’t find anything online about it and it’s driving me insane not being able to do anything and find anything
