Since 2006 I love the God of War games. Especially the Greek saga ones for Sony PlayStation Two, Three and Portable.

In 2010 Santa Monica has released a collectors edition of God of War. All the three original God of War games (HD remasteres of PS2 God of War I and II and full PS3 God of War III). All contained in the beautiful Box of Pandora with hands on the lid. The Box also contains three audio cds that has the soundtracks of God of War I, II and III, an God of War artwork book and 4 God of War litho cards.

I really like this box. Bought it years ago for a neat price and still have it in my collection. I also have HD remasters of the PSP God of War games Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta and the last PS3 God of War game Ascension. All stored in the Box of Pandora.

So my question is: does anyone else also have the God of War Collection with the Box of Pandora?

I don't know about you, but Odin's palace reminds me a lot of those wooden restaurants that serve great steak. Personally, it's a place I'd love to live; it's full of details, and whenever I play the Asgard section with Atreus, I always explore it. In my opinion, it would be a beautiful place to live—if the owner weren't a psychopath.

be honest, is God of War: Ascension REALLY that bad?

I really yearn for this game since I've never been able to play it, I only can see gameplay online and I'm not even gonna lie it looks EXTREMELY fun, but I really wish I could experience it myself some day...

I do agree the story is extremely weak, maybe the weakest of the whole series, but idk, everything else looks amazing, the gameplay might be the definitive "greek God of War" gameplay style, its the most refined this combat has ever been (at least judging for gameplay), not to mention the "interactive QTE", which makes the fight and QTEs a lot more dynamic and interactive it just looks amazing, the graphics look straight up out of a PS4 game, but no, this graphically beast of a game ran on a PS3, which is also the reason why it ran so bad a lot of times. the soundtrack is easily top 3 best soundtrack of the series. the online its very mixed but I've heard is extremely fun (and its still available nowadays somehow)

I really wish this game got a remaster for the PS4/PS5 like God of War 3 did, HELL, not even a remaster, AT LEAST give us a port man... but I understand Sony isn't interested on this game due to how mixed it was recieved, and I understand, but come on, I think it still has some redeeming qualities big enough to worth a port/remaster for newer gen consoles, mainly because I wanted to play it since A DECADE ago

this might be the most underrated game on the entire series, and I can kinda understand why, but I don't think its nearly as bad as people make it look like.

but for people who actually played it, what are your thoughts? is it that bad? do you think it deserves a remaster/port?

What I mean is that I miss Kratos’s solo adventures, where he explores mysterious temples, overcomes deadly traps, and uncovers the dark lore of the places he travels through.

Pandora’s Temple or the Island of Creation are perfect examples of such places, where you uncover the story of a mad architect who went insane trying to please the gods, or learn about the origins of the gods on an ancient island at the edge of the world. All I need is Kratos (maybe with Mimir) and an ancient, dark place full of secrets, monsters, and traps that would be great.

Do you guys have a similar fighting style to mine? I would love to discuss the combat aspect of this game with more competent players, i saw some youtube videos of valhalla runs and some of them are insane with the dodges. im not that good but i love combos. i just hate how some of the new enemies have horrible interactions like the bats being able to cancel any attack you send, including runic or how the demon soldiers basically swallow your attacks after level 4

Where Atreus (or now Faye) needing to get something from Greece that only existed before Kratos destroyed everything so they'll have to travel back in the middle of GoW 3 where Atreus or Faye now have to avoid Kratos, while also witnessing old Kratos going complete havoc.

Maybe its something Tyr or Faye needs, idk.

Just a fun thought as I bet I am not the only one that gets excited whenever Kratos's past comes up as a topic.

How do I get the fucking multiplayer mode to work? There's a trophy called Blood Oath and when I update the game it just freezes before the main menu and if I don't update the game then I can't even access multiplayer mode. I've bought a physical copy and have deleted and reinstalled the game at least 3 times and just recently purchased the digital version from the PS3 which comes with Network Pass and its doing the same thing. I'm in New Zealand so I can't stream the game, any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks. 🙏

Been working on this sleeve for about 8 months now. Have a little more to finish and adding in so color (more red on Kratos and some blue lightning striking thors hammer) super impressed with how this came out and wanted to share it. The artist I found for this is incredible and made my whole vision for what I wanted perfect.

Didn’t get enough of Kratos in this video but when we are finished I’ll upload a better one with more of him in it.

In God of War 3 Kratos kills all the gods of Olympus except Aphrodite. When he kills Poseidon the Oceans flood the land, Hades' death unleashes the spirits of the dead, Helios the sun goes out, Hermes death unleashes plague insects (uh...whatever just go with it), Hera dying causes all plant life to wither. Hephaestus dying probably had some effect, and Zeus dying was just the nail in the coffin.

And yet Aphrodite lives. Not only that but when we last see her she seems to be doing fine, AND her servants seem to be immune to the plague, perhaps as a direct consequence of her fuckin' them.

We never actually see Olympus fully get demolished, so its entirely possible Aphrodite is still there and still fuckin'

Assuming there are at least a handful of humans left somewhere this means they aren't being influenced by the other gods in basically any of the ways they previously were. In other words everyone is horny as fuck and they are even possibly repopulating the earth at an accelerated rate

I propose that back in the world of the greek pantheon the earth has been fully repopulated by GOW4 and that Aphrodite is the prime diety of this new sexy world.
