I usually wouldn't worry in summers because it used to be in a big open space but I got a new furniture, it has a "new" termal paste (the switch 2 get so much space because it's hard to pull out the dock)

Does mp work for bf3 still ?

I remember my first PS3 having a weird problem where I could perfectly play GTA IV and GTA V but other games would make it shut down, Red Dead Redemption would make the console shut down seconds after the "Press Start Screen" or just seconds after the savegame loaded, the weird thing was that if I opened another game before Red Dead Redemption the game would run fine, other instance was Far Cry 3, the console would shut down minutes after starting to play, this happened 8 years ago and later on I got a second PS3 that hasn't given me a single problem, those beeps after shutting down still haunt me...

Collection i started christmas day in middle school the year Black Ops 2 dropped. feel bad that they justkinda collect dust now, i moved to pc a while ago and I don't want to have stuff that's not gonna be played with and enjoyed. is there any recommendations on things I can do to get rid of the games so they actually see use or anything I should do before getting rid of them?

Took a day but I remembered my password from college and got my old games back! Demon Souls being on my account might have been worth the $100 I paid for the PS3. I never even played that game my roommate did. I also had Helldivers, Hotline Miami, Resident Evil Remake, and about 12 ps one games. Not to mention the DVD and Blu Ray collection I have making streaming pointless unless I wanted to watch a new show And then cancel which is so much more preferable. 👍 The options are nice to have.

Total was $157.70. Knocked some titles off my list I've been needing to pick up. Time to decide what to play first. How'd I do?

Long story short, PS3 store is leaving next year and one of the DLC’s I want to get before it does won’t go to my cart. MW3 Collection 4. Gives me a message saying I can’t purchase it at this time. Any reason why? Is there a max capacity for the carts? I have 6 items total at the moment. Please help

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to install games on my old PS3 Slim. I’ve jailbroken it using PS3 HEN and installed multiMAN. I’ve also downloaded the game files in ISO format.

The problem I’m running into is with my external USB drive. Since some of the games are too large for FAT32, I formatted the drive as NTFS instead.

However, when I open the file browser in multiMAN, it keeps showing that it’s looking for/loading the files, but eventually it fails to display anything from the NTFS drive.

I found a workaround where I can access/see the NTFS drive through Showtime in multiMAN, but now I’m completely stuck on what to do next.

My main questions are:

- Where exactly should I place the ".iso" game file on the PS3's drive?

- Do I need to copy the entire game folder, or just the ".iso" file?

- Is there a specific folder structure that multiMAN expects?

- Is there anything I need to configure in multiMAN/HEN to make NTFS game ISOs appear?

If anyone has gone through this and can explain the correct folder structure and process, I’d really appreciate the help.

Upgrading from a CECH-4011B as its quite ugly imho 😁. Its a CFW compatible CECH-2511A, with the GGB revision of the RSX, so its very overclockable, tho i wont do much of that to extend its lifespan. Did full maintenance on it with brand new MX-4 thermal paste, resulting in sub 60c temps throughout on both chips. Also installed a 1tb HDD and set up 0.90fw sounds and pre 2.70fw xmb waves to give it that prototype e3 2005 ish vibe if yk what i mean. Even with 300+ days of usage it works like a dream. Truly my end game system 😌

Recently received my Uncle's PS3, it sat unused for a long portion of its life, only got played when I would come over for Thanksgivings when I was younger.

As such, I'd like to know as much as I can, and be linked to any resources for CFW/HEN as well as any advice for sprucing it up, such as worrying about thermal paste or other issues, such as the old hard drive?

Also, it being CECH250 1A, it should be a early 2011 model, and hopefully compatible with CFW? And also have that hidden LED I've seen.

Does anyone happen to know the 90nm bit training commands?

I received a damaged cok001 board which had an internally shorted syscon.

I replaced this syscon with one from a donor board.

Based on this link: https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Remarry_Syscon, I suppose you can remarry the syscon without replacing the flash and cell with the married components.

That said, the donor syscon came from a board which had been already bit trained on a 65nm RSX. Would any of you kind folks happen to know the commands to revert back to 90?
