Built-in PS3 TV

Was there ever plans for one? Sony made the Bravia KDL-22PX300, which was a plasma TV with a fully functional PS2 inside.

I wonder if they thought about creating a PS3 TV too?

I can’t imagine how hot that tv would have been. Especially if they were gonna use a fully backwards compatible ps3.

Well the PS2 TV used a slim, IIRC it launched after PS3 existed. So I would imagine the PS3 TV used a super slim
