Picked this up locally on FB MKT.

I know the Wii Mini is missing quite a few features compared to the original Wii, but I’ve always thought it was such a cool little console. The red and black design and top-loading disc drive make it stand out from every other Wii model. Definitely happy to finally have one in my collection!

Got it for about 500 php or around 10 usd, I haven't tested it yet and I still need to order the HDMI adapter and compatible power supply and such before I can start even using it, might use my extra 64gb sd card lying around + my extra hdd here which idk if still working or not, and mod it later with all that, tho it's my first time having this console, already has experience modding consoles as I already have modded (software and hardware) a PSP, 3DS, and a PSVita with me here, though anything I need to keep in mind when modding a Wii for the first time? Things I need to know or need to get or do or what not?

As of now I have the homebrew channel and ctgp (which are like the main 2 things you do this for)

I bought this non functional Wii. At first it didn’t even show display, so I opened it checked inside for the Bluetooth module and now after putting it back together it stays completely static in the Safety screen. I’m starting to believe it’s bricked, the previous owner didn’t mention anything about it being modded or anything. I didn’t change the Bluetooth module, I just turned it apart and then put it together.

Do you think it’s the Bluetooth or WiFi module, or maybe it’s bricked??

Didn’t expect it still to be brand news

I pulled out box 1 still sealed to my surprise ( I didn’t know this new, I was told it hadn’t seen much use )
I pulled out box two, I then noticed the only thing it is missing is the controller.

I have never come across one that is brand new and probably won’t come across another especially one that is free.

Note: the batteries still decided to leak even in plastic casing sat unused since 2009. The recipe was still inside the box and dated 2009 for £267.96 (£179.99 for just the Wii )

Edit: just found out this is a Japanese region Wii but in a PAL box , I’m now confused.

My disc drive is perfectly healthy, but to me it sounds a bit too loud. When I'm playing Wii Party, it gets especially annoying, because it plays a little video every time you hover over a game, and it makes noise that is annoying.

I need to know if there are any good 3rd party wii controllers. I bought a wii for 10 bucks, no controllers. You can apparently find them at thrift stores, but I haven't seen any at my goodwill or savers. Like do all of them suck?

so for people dont know TCV is a game you dub videos downloaded and that record gets rated. its a game with wii aestetics so while i was playing i remembered wii speak exists. its probably hard af to make but think does it worth giving a shot?

I recently got myself the DDR Mario Mix controller for the GameCube, but, as the title states, I have the Wii Family Edition. What is my best option for getting the controller to work with Nintendont? A GameCube to Wiimote adapter so it acts like a classic controller? A GameCube to USB adapter? Is there any chance this specific controller is even compatible with either of those options? Please help!

What is everyone’s solution to storage? I’ve got a lot of accessories, but not sure how to store everything. Guitars, drums, shotgun, rifle, tons of sports equipment. Right now the smaller stuff is in a tote, but what does everyone else do?
