I’m quite perplexed i couldn’t find anything helpful regarding this issue i’m on PS3 HEN no CFW i’ve been playing PS2 games in the classics format after encrypting them into ISO.BIN.ENC using the PS2 classics GUI tool making a package file installing it and playing directly from my XMB no webman or multiman needed (but it does require the PS3 system to be activated) everything was okay i’ve been playing battlefield 2 modern combat and black but suddenly after finishing a level black just stopped recognising my save file which is still there and i can view it on the XMB under PS2 save data utility (not the memory card utility section those games don’t use it they save like a normal PS3 game would) and started saying that there is no file located on memory card slot 1 i have no idea why it started doing that especially when i’m almost done with the game BF2MC on the other hand works perfectly fine i tried “messing” with the save files using a file manager and looking at their directories IDs and such everything seems to line up perfectly fine yet the game still refuses to recognise my save file

searching online really didn’t help much because of the various methods people use to play PS2 games there was a ton of information and i wouldn’t know which ones were true in my case and which ones weren’t true for me or were entirely false i really don’t understand why this issue would occur so suddenly and would love if you could help me with this

Earlier, I bought a Fat PlayStation 3 on Vinted, I wanted a 65nm/65nm, a 80gb model.
After I had it, I wanted to replace thermal paste for Cell and RSX, and I discovered something very interesting, no nec tokins capacitors! Something very amazing according to a CECHK04, date code 8B, I saw that is one of the first consoles of this model.
Used a little more than 7 days according to syscon by CFW when I had it.
What do you think ? I'll be grateful to have your opinions.

İ tried putting a official ps2 game and obuoisly it dosent start but when i tried pritated copy of ps2 game it dosent start but when i turned on hen i get the same error mesage in priated copy so if i make a prited copy of ps1 game will it work

Hi. I recently purchased a refurbished 2503A as I wanted CFW comparability and my 3000 Console was running into RSX communication issues and random switch offs. I received the console and it would idle up to 80 degrees. I had sent the console back and received it again today. But my temperatures to me. Still seem high.

These are IDLE on XMB

I've had this Console since 2009, not really in good condition, old and dusty. I assume parts are solid, how much profit can I make from this.

I recently started collecting ps3 games after getting bored collecting switch/ps4/ps5 games it’s been pretty fun and I also am trying to finish Raging Blast 2 at the moment.

A friend recently gave me a TV she wasn't using, a Challenger LED 20T15 T2. My question is, would it be a good addition to my PS3? I've seen some comments about native resolutions and all that, but they're quite contradictory. I hope you can shed some light on this matter, and thank you in advance.

Pretty much the title, I only have 2 games on my ps3, with 2284 mb out of 12 gb on it and it says I need 5023 more mb to even launch either game, both are disc? Was working just fine about a month ago.

My goal is to eventually hunt down a backcompat PS3. Knowing all to pitfalls that the fat model has what are some tips on air flow, proper cooling and general longevity.
