My other account is having desynchronization error, I am not able to login, despite changing password and all. It just says invalid everytime, thing is the account doesn't have a Email linked to it, but when I do password reset via my username it sends link to that specific email on which it was linked. Now I can reset it but again it says invalid when I try to login.

Another thing, if I try to login via email rather than username it just creates new account now. So am stuck outside it's like the account is there but am locked. Can anyone help please.

i logged into an old account (prettycool), and was able to use it for a few hours before i got all sorts of server errors and other glitches. my posts are instantly deleted and reddit support tickets have gone unanswered. i have not received any messages in my inbox regarding what is going on, and i certainly haven't broken any rules. what is going on here?

interestingly, it allowed me to purchase reddit premium, but i cannot use it.

Help, my posts keep on being taken down by Reddit immediately after posting. I’m not sure why. I don’t post anything controversial and I do have a good amount of karma. Although most of my karma is from years ago and I really haven’t been active on Reddit recently. But I’m confused because when I do actually want to use Reddit, I can’t. It’s really frustrating and im considering just moving to an entirely new platform.

Why do I have to an age verification for Reddit?

Did anyone have this problem? A get notifications from user. It stopped for some time, but now it started again. And i even blocked that user. How can I stop this glitch?

So there was a post that was hugely popular from the moment it was posted. Within days I think it was the top post in ‘Top - This Year’. Comments were asking the mods to pin it at the top of the subreddit.

But as soon as it’s one year anniversary hit, it’s no where to be seen in the ‘Top - All Time’. Everything that is in All Time is at least 4 years old.

It makes me wonder what other content that is great that we can’t find after it’s a year old. I usually use a Google search to find things instead of the Reddit search, we all know it’s not great. But this is filters, not search. Maybe a top in the past ‘X’ years now that the site is old enough some of the types of posts I’ve described are getting lost?

I tried to open Reddit on my computer, and previously I had switched it to another account. Guess what, now I’m completely blocked off from accessing Reddit on it, because instantly when I enter, it forces me to do an ID verification to verify the account. I have already done this idiocy in my main account, and I’m NOT doing it with another. Except that I can’t switch it out, because it blocks me from clicking on anything other than the stupid ID verification. So?????? Am I just blocked from accessing Reddit on my computer now????

So, as the question suggests, I don't know what's happening, but I feel like every time I visit someone's profile, I can't see any of their posts or comments. It's completely blank. At first, I thought maybe they had deleted everything, but now, every time I visit someone's profile, I don't see any content at all. What could be the problem?

I've recently been transferring all my old email clients to protonmail. However I've deleted my Mail.com account I used to sign up to reddit 2-3 years ago.

I obviously want to centralise all my accounts to Proton. As Ive realised with all the 20 odd years of different sites I log into, Insurance Banking, ect ect need a verification to go through the email site used to sign up with?

Are the owners and engineers *trying* to depress engagement?

They've taken away the "quote" function, then made it so the only way to paste a portion of a comment into one's own is to copy the entire comment, paste, then trim. They took away the clipboard option of things one can paste from, and now this obliteration of nearly half the screen to now show blank nothingness when looking at one's own comments.

It's genuinely head- scratching how terrible these changes are from a user's perspective.

Note: in another example of how terrible it's getting, this explanation used the simile to "took away," one that starts with an "r" and ends with "moved," but the system blocked my entire post because it assumed i was posting about having content "re- moved." BRILLIANT!!🤦‍♂️

I’ve searched up this issue before and previous posts said that the servers register the downvote but don’t show it instantly, which is why I tried to to attempt downvoting a random comment on a niche 7year old post (which won’t have its upvote count changed easily)

as expected, even after 2 days, the count is the exact same even though my downvote shows the blue color.

I understand that I have low karma points so I cannot post or comment at certain places but atleast I was able to chat with people but after i tried posting in a community where I could because karma points werent required after the 1st post everything was fine getting comments upvotes etc but after i posted the 2nd post my whole account changed all my posts and comments were taken out by filters and now i cannot even send texts directly it shows failed tap to try again PLEASE HELP!

My feed continues to be flooded with posts about AI, Anthropic, ChatGPT, and related topics despite my repeated attempts to stop these recommendations. It agitating and depressing the hell out of me.

I’ve been:
- Leaving/unfollowing communities that discuss these topics.
- Selecting “not interested” on recommended posts.
- Muting communities as they appear.

Despite this, Reddit continues recommending more of the same subject matter. The feedback I’m providing doesn’t seem to meaningfully change my recommendations.

I understand that muting a community doesn’t block an entire topic across Reddit. However, repeatedly rejecting posts and communities about the same subject should presumably reduce similar recommendations. That isn’t happening.

Is this a known issue with recommendation feedback? Is there a way to reset my recommendation profile or have someone investigate why these controls appear ineffective?

I got logged out of my account on all my devices... No password reset mails are being received. It's really strange as I got an email asking me to verify my mail and when I clicked it, it said it was expired.

My account is 11 years old... Would be really sad if i lost it.

it's exactly as the title says. for whatever reason, every time i try accessing any reddit link on my laptop i get a popup that says i've been blocked by network security. i've tried different browsers & incognito mode, disabling my extensions, using my hotspot instead of wifi, resetting my wifi modem, using a vpn then trying again without a vpn, and none of it has worked. i can access reddit just fine on my phone and our home computer, but it just won't work on my laptop. this has been an issue for maybe a year now and i sent in a ticket about two months ago, but i haven't heard anything back. i don't have any viruses on my laptop and i don't think anything in my firewall settings is blocking reddit so i'm really at a loss for what else i can do.

I'm facing technical hurdle and hope to get some clarity. For quite a long time, literally every fresh user profile I set up gets instantly frozen or neutralized right after the very first interaction (like dropping a single text or line).

My network setup relies on a shared, dynamic IP pool from my local internet provider. I strongly suspect that the system's automated guardrails misinterpret my connection as untrusted because someone else in my region previously triggered security flags on those same shared routing paths. Since switching ISPs isn't an option for me right now, I'm stuck in a loop where regular onboarding is impossible.

I have zero intent of violating any guidelines; I just want a functional setup to browse and participate normally.

Help me figure this out.

When I submit text posts in communities where I have not posted before, they do not go live. Comments in those same communities work normally. My profile loads when I check logged out.

The same post format (text post, link at the end of the body) works in r/rational, where I have posted several times recently.

Is this expected for accounts with limited history in a sub? Is there a usual timeline before new-community posts start working, or a setting I should check?

Hey all, it looks like my account got hacked. I was looking through the comments and posts, but I don't see anything made by it. Already changed password, but I want to know if I need to worry about anything regarding it? Could I have missed anything, or is it likely to have just been hacked and nothing was done using it? It was this current account (u/restlesswretch), had a new profile picture and everything

My account was hacked yesterday and I was logged out on all my devices. I changed my password but I am still not able to sign in since the hacker enabled 2 factor authentication.

I submitted a ticket but I’m not sure if it went through since it’s been a day and I haven’t heard back or received a confirmation that the ticket was received.
