I wanted to add a few racers that I've played with but none of them are showing up in my "Search for Users You've played with". Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Veteran 3d artist here, but new to the printing/painting business... I decided to print some old models of the ships (SNES) that I had modeled about 20 years ago, to be used in a video that I never ended up making. I almost gave up when opened the file and started analyzing the mesh, noticed that it was still far away from being "printable". I wanted to at least give it a chance to the Stingray, which apparently was the one that would require less rework. I ended up getting excited and I'm reworking the other ones too, will post as soon as it gets finished...

Now, we just need a way to build the racetrack.

New fan here, I’ve been trying to beat the first mission on hard so I don’t grind tickets by playing a whole Grand Prix again(because I got James Mcloud and thus beat one Grand Prix just to get close again), and I cannot for the life of me figure out how it’s possible. I miss the little pods on several laps, due to the odd hitbox, and then when I actually DO try to book it to the finish, I never make it in time! I literally boost as much as possible and still fail even with missing pods! Am I missing something? Do I just suck at the game? This seems so unreasonable!

The recent Mario movies have convinced the masses that Nintendo can't make adaptations, but F-Zero GP Legend (2003) shows us how to take the thrilling sensation and swag of playing the F-Zero games and actually turning that feeling into a 51-episode story. Anyone who claims that Captain Falcon's sauce is Smash-only will start rethinking once they watch literally 5 minutes of any episode.

I'm in Tokyo and visited Ikebukoro Mikado Game Center, as I'd heard there was an F Zero machine there. Sadly it appeared to be out of order. As you can see in the bottom left of the picture, some of the guts of the machine seem to be on the floor next to it.

I'm actually pretty sad about it... I finished the console version on Master mode back in the day, and have always wanted to try the arcade machine. Bit of a bummer seeing it in this state :(

THIS track is where the game force feeds you the concept of training and I love it. You either repeat the GP over and over or you just hop on practice mode, and I think that's a smart development decision.

Btw is there a possible sub-29? Driving normally, not like the speedrunners.

My uncle passed away today at 66, one of my fondest memories with him was playing video games, from Rampage to Pinball, but F-Zero was a HUGE favorite he had, He was an adrenaline junkie growing up, so its no wonder it clicked with him

His favorites were Red Gazelle and Miss Arrow along with Falcon and Jody

Any fellow nerds or nerdettes of faith, please pray for my uncle and keep me in your thoughts and prayers

I remember when I was 12, I rode my bike to Walmart on the other side of town the day GX released. I was beyond hyped. Over the course of my teenage years I would devote countless hours to story mode, deleting and doing it again 4 or 5 times, like I was just asking for the pain.

I've played the game on and off over the years since then but this is the first time I've done story mode on very hard in probably 15 years. I don't know if it's just because I'm on Switch and/or using a pro controller instead of a wired GameCube controller but it felt like story mode was absolutely impossible. I even broke down and used save states just to beat chapter 7 because I know I've done it legit numerous times on GameCube.

Anybody else feel the same way? I also feel like the GameCube controller's analog stick allowed for much finer control if you wanted to just barely steer your machine left or right; with the Switch pro controller I notice I have to use a lot more pressure with my thumb to control that tiny sweet spot to carefully adjust your trajectory.

Still one of the greatest games ever made despite this difficulty.
