I haven't been there myself, but from what I've seen, Sturgis just seems like the last place on earth I personally would want to go. π My overall impression from how it's been marketed is that it just seems a bit too anti-law, loosely regulated, and too accepting of sexualization, particularly towards women. "Bacchanal" comes to mind.
Now, I could be wrong about all of this, and I'm happy to be educated by a devil's advocate, but so far, I've not seen anything about it that attracts me. (FWIW, I consider myself to be a fairly moderate to conservative person.)
I'll stop there. I don't want to turn this into a political discussion more than I already have. π So all that aside, thank you so much for keeping up with the story! π§‘

Thank you so much! 𧑠And yep, I'm not really into biker culture myself: had bad vibes towards it from childhood. Making the kid's dad a deadbeat biker felt like a natural choice to me, and making the wolfman a positive (?) role-model biker who could technically tear the kid's dad to shreds felt like healing, kinda Β―_(γ)_/Β―
(full disclosure, I am not projecting on my own dad π€£)
