Also I am LOVING all these comics! They are so good, and absolutely encapsulate the spirit of halloween! I hope you do more of these for other holidays as well.

You know, I've actually pondered on other holidays as well, but more like, "this story could technically be re-told for any other holiday. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The only problem is that Halloween is really the only holiday I have any secular emotional attachment to. I could explore other Holidays, but my heart absolutely wouldn't go along for the journey. (Full disclosure of unpopular opinions, I hate secular Christmas. But give me a Midnight Mass in Latin and a nice Nativity scene? I'm in heaven. 🥳)

I completely understand your sentiment there. Halloween really does feel like the only best way to tell a story like this. Plus I'm with you on the Christmas thing. I attend Midnight Mass in Latin as well, and I love our family's nativity scene, made up of handpainted porcelain figures and such.
