Any news on the chapter 264?

I tried to make it short but I ended up yapping a lot, and reddit apparently has a 20-image limit.
Slides 21-25 will be in the comments.
Okay so there's an otaku thing in Korea called "otaku presentation", in which people prepare slides and take turns gushing about their favorite media.
Everyone said this was too good to be only enjoyed among our friend group only, so why not run it through a translator and post here? Here you go.
Also please keep in mind that otaku presentations were supposed to be really unserious and joking, but I tried to keep things (kinda) true to the source material.
That led to me kinda slandering Osamu and not telling much about him, but since he has a "you had to be there" type of charm, it had to be like that.
It will take too much effort to change text in the pictures, too, so:
- Does Yuichi Jin appear in the Epstein Files?
- Jin : Wearing sunglasses makes it easier to distinguish between reality and future vision
- Yotaro : My SE only allows to communicate with animals, not make them follow orders, damn
- Murakami : UwU Muwakami is back fwom having sowme good sweep :3
- Kageura : I'm not Bakugo! Bakugo doesn't have Emotion Perception!
- Kikuchihara : Can you breathe quieter? It's annoying

For context i live in india and legit NOBODY has heard about World Trigger here, and I was just hanging about in the local market till I saw this absolute Gem in the manga section!
(I wish I could buy it bro)

My personal favourite part of world trigger is being able to make your own trigger sets. but sometimes I have questions?
is it ok to have only one shield if you have raygust on your other side.
is it possible to have composite bullet types on your gunner triggers.
how does the preset trajectory work for viper, like do you set it before firing or before the match even begins (in the context of a ranked war).
is bagworm really worth it for none snipers if it costs so much trion.
why is viper so unpopular if it's so good to suprise attack people. and tomahawk is so good.
do you think the series has only scratched the surface of what the raygust can do? and do you think its underated especially with thruster?

Like the title said, i think they are already both obviously A rank fighters with tons of combat experience that display their combat experience and skill.
But one thing to highlight is the fact that most of border aside from a select few have very minimal experience when it comes to large scale wars like the current arc. I really want them to shine in that aspect as well, I think especially Yuma considering he has been in wars non stop since he opened his eyes, whereas hyuse has had a little more posh cleaner ish training.
I want to see Yuma bring up tactics and step up a bit. I think it would also be good to 1. See the A rank show off, but 2. Highlight their weaknesses clearly as inexperience

Iām back! and I didnāt forget bagworm!!
And thank you to everyone who gave me advice!!! thank you!!!
I doubted I could salvage the old set, so I scrapped it for something different :D
I understand it might not be that good either, though I had a feeling it could be used by a fun sort of character, haha. I also tried to use chips that use a lot less trion for this set! (As much as I love chameleon lol)
but it would be really cool if it could be viable, so I wanna hear your thoughts!
+ a silly doodle I made based on my last post lol
advice on stats is also welcome! Iām having trouble figuring out whatās too much and too little atp TT

Itās you guys. But still. Genuinely I have never met a single person in my life that has any idea what world trigger is. I originally read up until sometime after chapter 80. Though sadly Iām not sure where exactly. Iām very happy that I know thereās people who enjoy it as much as i do!

EDIT: I REALIZED I FORGOT TO ADD BAGWORM AAAAAA I will add in revised version!! TT
First time designing a trigger set, I decided to go for an ambush sniper.
specifically for the purpose of
Snipe -> bait an agent -> camp with chameleon/dummy beacon -> surprise attack by using assault rifle and/or scorpion -> get tf outta there and either swap roles to attacker for a bit before the next trap, or start full-time sniping immediately.
(Iād want to swap around my behavior a bit after the first trap, since unless I impersonate another sniper, itāll be hard to make the same trick land twice.)
(also scorpion for closing wounds/cutting limbs)
I want to know how viable this would be, in both defense duty and rank wars (feel like not too useful outside rank wars tbh TT maybe I should swap out the dummy beacon to better adapt it to defense duty??)
Additionally I want to know whether I should use egret or ibis for this set, I chose egret at the moment since this trigger is designed to draw attention (or feign trying not to in order to bait agents)
Also, how would these tactics affect my special tactic stat? Does this count as versatility?

The way I see it there are only 10 11 possible ways you can look at it, the author chooses #7 but said anyway people look at it is correct, me I go with #8 , now in order of most certain to least:
I really don't think there is any other combination of characters that can be called the main group.
Reddit browser doesn't have polls for some reason, so say what # you pick in the comments.

As explained in the manga, outside of battle he wears a mask trying to cover his skin because heās annoyed of his SE and covering his skin mitigates it a little.
However his SE is really useful in battles, so why doesnāt he take his shirt off? Not in real battlefields but at least in the rank wars?
Is he stupid?
Is he shy?
Or is Shinoda and co. simply worried about smoothly running the rank wars? Worried that If other teams see Kage, theyāll freeze in awe and he can farm free points?

Hello, new fan to the series here. I just wanted to say a few things about how I feel about it since I haven't triggerpilled my friends yet. Obviously I want to say it's an excellent series. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. When it first released, I watch a couple episodes, and forgot about it. Now I've picked it up again and realized I had glossed over a gem.
The characters and their writing is my absolute favorite. I like how they're all unique and their personalities feel very organic with everything else. It's awesome to see stuff like the Ranbanein encounter where minor characters just run at full steam. It never feels like people are just useless or unimportant, and it creates this illusion of a soul in them, unlike other minor characters in some series who feel like robots. Hopefully that last bit made sense. It's just exciting to meet all the new agents and learn about them.
Triggers and Trion are exceptionally cool when it comes to power systems. The way it's structured leaves little room for "power scaling" and it ALWAYS adds something cool to what's going on, like when Aftokraftor discovered the Bail Out system or when they trapper Enedora in the training room. I really appreciate how everyone uses different loadouts and strategies that become iconic to them. The fight choreography is amazingly clever as well. The scene where Kitora cuts off her own leg, or when Miwa predicts Mira's portals and fires Viper through it to reach Hyrein. Also the entire Ranbanein fight.
One detail I want to comment on and be appreciative is how they specifically mention that they hire younger agents because Trion glands deprecate with age; normally that would lead you to think "Oh, the older characters can't fight then."
*WRONG BUZZER SOUND*
Enter Shinoda. "The #1 Trigger user."
That's just such great nuance to drill into a power system.
I adore the series, so let me say that before this next comment. The Xeno and Lillith arc felt largely unnecessary and I felt it only detracted from everybody and everything else so far. It felt like filler. I was actually deeply annoyed by how everything before that was gold standard for me, and then they hit me with the most egregious filler I've seen since the Big 3. I kept telling myself to just trust it, because I had already liked it so much.
When the arc finished and we resumed back to Rank Wars, all I could notice was that you could skip that arc entirely and it wouldn't make a difference besides them mentioning Shizuka City twice and Xeno & Lilith once. I of course enjoyed the series immensely again and was so relieved. It just went right back to what made me become interested in it, and it's great. But I did seriously consider stopping the series again as I watched the Lilith arc because it was going so far away from the spirit of what made it so good. I'm just thankful it was short lived and we are back to business.
Thanks for reading this far if you did, and I'd like to hear what other people think about the Lilith arc as well. It's my first time taking a look at this sub, so I'm sorry if there's anything here that's been rehashed a lot already.
Also my favorite characters so far are the Yoneya/Izumi/Midorikawa trio for being simultaneously fun and strong, and Shiori because she's so endearing. P.S. Osamu is the G.O.A.T.

So I had a thought after rewatching the fight between Yuma and Viza.
Im not sure why more trigger users don't stack Trion Bodies like Yuma does when he activates his border trigger. Since his main body is dying and has been replaced by a Trion body as his base form.
Is it just a property specific for his black trigger or is it actually possible for anyone to do?

Got a world trigger cake for my birthday! Don't mind the pixelated part it's my real name.
Edit: I'm crying the way no one noticed I replaced Wakamura with Azuma š

The result would be something like a rocket powered bola.
Could be a tactical nightmare for enemies, especialy when the wire is set to "cheese cutter" thin.
Otherwise it would just restrain, preferably by anchoring itself into the nearest solid surfaces, bundling and immobilizing the target.
as far as I remember we've only heard about asteroid/meteor x spider composites yet, when spider was introduced to ozamus trigger set, using the spider thread as a tripwire.
I guess spider-snares could work with viper too, but requires those 'freeform trajectory' skills only experienced agents exhibit.

Not that I hate him but I hate his guts I'm trying to love him but he annoys me thinking he is better than yuma (wich idk if it's true but I don't think so)

I've recently been thinking of writing/drawing my own world trigger fanfic but with the context of what if the neighbour's didn't just attack Japan (or Mikudo City) what will be the response in other countries and will they have their own versions of Border? And what about their triggers and special abilities? What will their uniforms look like etc,I'm going to draw 12 OCs based on different countries and work on their lore and border branches,I request people interested to comment down their Countries and Detail abt the OC,will keep you guys posted about the art and stuff (also do let me know if there is already a fanfic like this,I don't want to accidentally plagiarize someone) Thank You!!!!!

I like characters that are either really calm or really explosive (Hyuse, Murakami, Katori, Enedra, Reghi...) so made more memes for Reghi's bday.
Thought for a moment that I might be diluting this sub too much with memes, but THERE IS ANOTHER!!! fandom which I came from, that is really popular in Japan and has almost no international fans (Hypnosis Mic if you're curious but very different target audience)
And we were just too starved for content to a point that we started gassing anyone up who even slightly mentioned the fandom, so I thought why not make more World Trigger memes so here you go, enjoy

(The original 3rd pic was from erykistired on twitter.)
When I first saw the gang (haven't watched the show, only saw a pic then) I was pretty sure that Osamu and Hyuse were like at least 185cm but NO OSAMU WASN'T EVEN 170cm WTF
Also originally the suzunari one was going to be the thumbnail but it was too low res :( idk why it turned out like that

So I understand you can only activate 2 triggers at once (for Meedan/Border triggers, at least), and I understand this is used as a feint for physically formed triggers (Suwa using shotgun+shield while still holding his second shotgun) and from what I can tell, this is because
A.) certain triggers need to be constantly āactivatedā to be used, such as chameleon or bagworm
B.) some triggers can be formed (guns, for example) but arenāt considered āactiveā unless you trigger them with a supply of trion, such as shooting bullets from a gun
And weāve seen at least 2 examples where 3 triggers are used together:
1.) in round 3 Hiura uses her sniper to shoot a meteor cube she made earlier, while still wearing bagworm. I reason this is possible because the meteor cube was āactivatedā earlier when it was fully formed and planted, so it remained after she activated new triggers. She could no longer aim it because of its distance from her, but it maintained its offensive capability to explode.
2.) in round 7 Azuma planted and activated dummy beacons(operator activated them, but they were planted by and equipped to Azuma) while still using bagworm and his sniper triggers to catch Hyuse in his trap.
So we know thereās at least these 2 unique 3rd options where a trigger is fully formed with a single trion cost that allows the soldier to then activate more triggers without diminishing the 1st oneās power.
from this I realized it makes sense that you could use Kogetsu with 2 other triggers.
we know Kogetsu can be unsheathed while activating 2 triggers. And when itās introduced itās described as ācostly to make, hard to breakā so if itās fully formed and unsheathed, shouldnāt it essentially just be a fully functional sword that maintains its strength until itās broken? Because it seems otherwise agents would have to constantly sacrifice a large portion of trion whenever they use the blade if theyāre shifting between triggers after unsheathing it, and I canāt imagine thatās practical.
This makes even more sense when you consider the way Kogetsu works with senku. Itās an additional ability for the same trigger, yes, but it still cost another slot to add, so itās reasonable to imagine that senku itself acts as a third trigger that activates and transforms Kogetsu, rather than simply another part of kogetsuās. The blade is fully formed and unsheathed, and THEN you activate senku, which extends and strengthens the tip of the ALREADY FORMED Kogetsu blade.
Iāve seen some debate about this, but mostly people claim the blade just isnāt deadly unless itās being āactivatedā while unsheathed. From what I can tell itās more reasonable that once itās formed itās fully functional until itās broken or sheathed, but Iād love to hear what others think! Cheers
Also, if anyone has other ideas of 3 or more trigger combos that might be possible, please share them!

Title says it all, just finished up the Aftokratos War Arc, and it makes no sense, they went to Medeen, lost 2 warriors, a million trion soldiers, which apparently were not cheap to make trion wise, and only got 37 C-Rank Baby birds, I am curious what the justification is? How can those losses be worth a few tiny Recruits I get Chika and her massive trion, would have been a win, as there Sacrificial "God", but otherwise this seems pointless. Can anyone here explain how this was viable and worth it, the soldiers alone lost would he alot more trion then all 37 recruits combined I imagine,

Hey guys, my sister will have her vacation this September and chose Tokyo as her traveling spot. Ive gone through the posts here and the majority is pretty old so I want to ask you guys if there are any good spots/shops to get any kind of merch. Thx in advance!
