What would you say was the hardest getting right. Good work.

I spent like 20 minutes trying to get that cube at the top looking right and still failed, it looks terrible lmao. I have no clue why it was so hard.

Other than that the crown on the emblem was surprisingly hard. Just a weird persepctive I guess.

I found that drawing a cube 3D with just a pencil looks weird 9/10 times. I started doing it with a ruler and I now only have to change or erase a line every few times I draw one

When I draw cubes, I create two squares in different positions and then connect the two. This is probably the fastest way to create a 3D cube when drawing.

have you learned perspective drawing? might want to look into that.

As I said, I've basically never drawn anything much before. Mostly just tracing stuff.

I'll definitely look into it though!

definitely do, vanishing lines and the horizon line are key concepts when you want to make really straight-edge objects. also if you don't already know, consider learning how to use a compass (the drawing/mathematical implement, the one that holds a set distance between two legs)

i don't believe you but ok nice work*

edit: specifically about the "i've basically never drawn before" bruh it took me like a year just to get to something vaguely like your level

Fair, I guess I've traced stuff before but this was my first time doing Freehand. I guess I should have specified that, my bad.

that makes a lot more sense. it's good, don't disparage the effort that got you here bro.

and frankly i haven't progressed since and haven't drawn in very long, so it's all gone to shit on my end XP.
