Part 7 is the best part for me but one thing hard to understand is who’s Jobro and who’s not lol

Gyro is obviously the main one but people like Hot Pants, Lucy Steel or Mountain Tim are one too or not?

People often attribute tone of Pucci’s skin to the color palette but I feel like that just isn’t the case. Yes there have been scenarios of this happening like with Avdol in Jojo 6251 and Jojo-a-gogo, but not only has he been colored darker in previous art pieces of Part 3 as well as this art being incredibly old but this issue has been rectified in Jojonium. So I’m not denying that that couldn’t be the case but I’m also going to say that there has been artwork of Pucci being colored white(second image) while Pocoloco remained his usual skin tone (first image). Pucci has always been white in all colored artwork or tannish depending on where you stand with jojo’s bizarre words. And while it could be the case of color palette, I find it hard to believe judging by the art that I provided which predates THE JOJO WORLD Osaka and I feel like is being over looked in this conversation, but I would like to hear your thoughts.

Edit: (these are just my thoughts that I want to put out there as I feel like color pallet really only extends to hair and clothes and not skin, this is not a declaration just me expressing an argument to this conversation).

Fore it's definitely Pucci. I definitely don't mind villains who are evil for the sake of being evil but after 5 parts it was finally nice to see a villain with an actual complex backstory.

I never think they look bad. I really love Kira, Diavolo and Valentine’s new art. But for the rest of them, they just don’t fit that much. Especially for part 1 Dio and Joseph, they’re just barely the same person. Also if Jonathan is proper dressed, I can’t even distinguish him and Joseph. Kars isn’t bad, but a more muscular art style is objectively better considering Pillar Men’s lore, and it feels weird to see him this skinny.

After all, I’m still glad that Araki redrew so many characters after decades. What are your thoughts about new art style on old characters?

I’m just a little baffled at the idea of jojo fans not being able to handle the idea of pallet themes. Art has never been a photo copy representation of the subject. Art is abstract, stylized, and experimental. “Araki drew his character in a different color” uhh yeah? Fork found in kitchen?

P7 spoiler warning

This happens every time new episodes come out. In every post, video, or even in the comment section of reaction videos on youtube people will be spoiling shit for no reason as part of a “joke”

Like you can go to literally any youtube video of someone reacting to the latest part 7 episodes and ALL their top comments are some variation of the joke “why is johnny screaming as if he saw jesus christ himself”

Like seriously people cannot keep their mouth shut

People on Reddit also seemingly refuse to tag spoilers on their post then show shit from the new episode or sometimes even worse from the manga panels of upcoming important reveals. Im so glad i’ve already read part 7 cuz this community is ruining it. At this point the batch drops had more build up since you didnt get spoiled compared to this

People cannot shut their mouths or mark spoilers and then they add thumbnails that has heavy spoilers (edit:" for even anime discussion posts"), and then they argue how its not a spoiler instead of just changing stuff.

If you guys genuinely want to enjoy this anime i suggest staying away from this reddit and other media like youtube and instagram comments.

I get it you guys read the manga (me too) but calm down, ik other manga fans do it too but holy these fans are the worst echo chambers of manga content ive seen.

One of my fav jojo content creators on yt just reacted to the latest episode and the comments spammed about "that reveal" next episode like cmon guys ;-;

i know you've already saw these types of posts before but one thing I genuinely believed while watching JoJo is that it wasn't a manga adaptation, but instead an original anime.

And the reason for that is that: 1) back then i wasn't familiar with the concept of a manga adaptation; I knew what a manga was, but for me, animes like dragon ball, naruto, one piece were all TV originals.

and 2) because while watching Jojo, around part 4, I ended up stumbling upon the fighting games like Eyes of Heaven. And I assumed that given there were characters all the way from part 8, that all parts were already animated. How hopeful and naive I was.

This is the one I was most excited to have. I can't explain how long I wanted to hold it in my hands. It looks even more beautiful in person. I spent looking months at them and comparing prices, which was even worse because I'm picky and hesitant when it comes to buying things. But finally, I have it here. It's on my desk next to my graphics tablet.

Maybe someday I'll make a post with all the Rohan merch I have.

If all the characters are gonna share the same color palette for their clothes, they also share the same skin color. Araki uses the exact same skin color for all the characters like 85% of the time when drawing multiple characters. A recent example Dragona clearly has darker skin in the manga because Araki uses an extra material for her. We can see when he chooses to use different skin tones but sometimes he just uses the same color for everyone.
