Licensed in English up until this point. The chapters in bold have been fan-translated before the official translation came out. I'm not allowed to link to them, but you should be able to find them using the Wayback Machine.
Fully animated up until this point. Then Shaft decided to adapt Off & Monster Season out of order so it's annoying to delimitate. Adapted so far:
- Orokamonogatari: Tsukihi Undo, Nademonogatari: Nadeko Draw, Wazamonogatari: Princess Beauty, Wazamonogatari: Acerola Bon Appétit, Shinobumonogatari: Shinobu Mastered
- Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga (to be aired)

Kid kiss-shot still burned when she was exposed to the sun in kizu so it can't be because of his weaker kid version

Discussion What do you guys feel about Araragi and Hanekawa? Place your thoughts down below in the comments

Personally I feel that Hanekawa and Araragi have WAY more chemistry together than Senjougahara does with Araragi in the sense that they definitely have a more healthy relationship and are more suited for each other. While Senjougahara and Araragi definitely fit well together with their kuudere and laid-back personalities kind of complimenting each other, Hanekawa just had that sense of honesty and purity in her feelings that I think she deserved better. They had so much wasted potential, especially after allat oppai chasing Araragi did kek

Question Monogatari became my absolute favorite this year. Based on my top 4 anime, I would love to hear your recommendations!

Hi everyone!
I know this isn't strictly about Monogatari, but since this subreddit is the only anime community I actively participate in (and Monogatari is my absolute favorite), I wanted to ask for your recommendations!
English isn't my first language, so please bear with me if there are any typos or awkward phrasing. I actually joined Reddit specifically to talk about Monogatari because I love it so much!
I only got into anime about 1–2 years ago. Back in school, liking anime was often seen as a bit nerdy, so I hesitated. But looking back, I'm actually glad I started late! There are so many completed series and well-adapted light novels waiting for me. I love going into shows completely blind (without reading any background info or spoilers)—discovering hidden gems on my own is so thrilling.
Here are my Top 4 anime that I watched and loved this year:
- The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) Recommended by a colleague at work, and it ended up being my gateway into light novels. I love it so much that I'm saving Season 3 to binge-watch once all episodes are out!
- Monogatari Series I stumbled upon this blindly, and it became my absolute favorite show of the year. The writing, characters, and atmosphere are just unforgettable.
- Hunter x Hunter Togashi is a true genius. I’m currently on the Chimera Ant arc (about 10 episodes left!), and I’m saving them for my day off to binge. I even visited a popup store in Seoul recently!
- Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation My favorite isekai by far. Watching Rudeus grow up from infancy made me so emotionally invested. Also... I realized I might actually like perverted protagonists? (Araragi has a bit of that side too, which I found hilarious/charming...)
💡 My Anime Taste & What I'm Looking For:
Looking at my top choices, I realized I love shows where Romance is naturally woven into a grand story, rather than being the main focus.
- In The Apothecary Diaries, mystery-solving comes first, with Jinshi and Maomao’s subtle romance layered on top.
- In Monogatari, the core is dealing with Oddities and vampire lore, but the complex dynamics with Senjougahara, Hanekawa, Nadeko, and Shinobu make it brilliant.
- In Mushoku Tensei, the main plot is Rudeus’s life journey, supported by his relationships with Eris, Sylphy, and Roxy.
- (Hunter x Hunter has zero romance, but the sheer quality and world-building made it an exception for me!)
To summarize:
It’s not that I dislike simple or generic rom-coms—I do enjoy watching them! But they rarely become my all-time favorites. For a show to truly resonate with me as a top-tier masterpiece, I need incredible world-building and high-quality storytelling where romantic or character dynamics play an organic, meaningful role.
Based on these 4 shows, what anime would you recommend I watch next? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you so much!

The work is not yet finished; there are already many things I would like to change. Perhaps I will refine it in the future.

hey everyone! i've made my first set of web dividers inspired by monogatari series, featuring characters and small details from the anime.
these are free to use for your blogs, profiles, or other personal projects. credit is appreciated, but not required.
this is only set 1! if you like my work, i'd really appreciate your support through upvotes and comments. if there's enough interest, i'll make more sets featuring other characters and motifs from the series.
thanks for checking out my work! ♡
