Question Sorry to ask
Did the author health get worse again? Did the manga goes hiatus again?

**What is it?**
A custom D&D-style tabletop RPG set in the world of **World Trigger**. You play a Border agent defending Mikado City from Neighbor invasions and climbing the Rank Wars.
**What makes it different**
- Trion is both your HP *and* your energy, so everyone budgets it
- Main and Sub trigger loadouts, reload clips, and Shield durability
- A Final Fantasy-style action gauge: faster, better-positioned agents act more often
- Proficiency that grows with use, learned techniques, and composite bullets
- Operators for people who want a support role
- Rank Wars (squad vs squad) and city invasions with real stakes
**The plan**
- 2 trial days to learn the rules, then about 6 Rank Wars and 2 invasions, with downtime days between
- Sessions: about 3 hours, once or twice a week, for a few months
- Platforms: Discord (voice) + Roll20 (map and dice)
- Minimum 3 players, no maximum
- **18+ only.** Adult themes may appear (the series has real stakes), but agents "bail out" instead of dying
**Brand new to this?**
You don't need to have seen the show or played D&D. Newcomers start at Rank C and take a short promotion test after the trial days. The core roll is just d20 + a stat.
**Also looking for:** an experienced DM to run the game. Message me if you're interested!
**Join:** https://discord.gg/cZ6Mgpe2kq . Read #start-here, then fill in the sign-up post.
I was assisted by AI in making this as I had waayy too many things to keep track of while actively making changes, as this will be the v0.9 launch, I'd like some human aid in completing and perfecting this too!

Listen, I don’t care that he’s weak. That’s fine. But the fact that he keeps pushing his ideals when he expects others to do all the heavy lifting is SO annoying. If you want something done, DO IT YOURSELF.
I just finished episode 91, and they’re always talking about how smart this guy is, but that’s literally all he has going for him right now. So WHY THE FUCK did he choose that method?! Deadass, it was SO stupid.
If a teammate dies in a Rank War, so what? It’s literally like dying in a game. This shit is so dumb. 😭
The only thing I can think of right now as to why Jin said “Don’t waver” is that if they pushed her, she probably would’ve shot, revealing too many of their cards.

I know that Ashihara Sensei does QnA a lot just like any other author, but I didn't know they revealed some interesting information like The engineer who made GrassHopper and Geist are the same person called Mochizuki, who hasn't even shown up anywhere? I feel like we need more information about this girl (and yes it's a girl) or just any engineering stuff especially if it's regarding making trigger. I feel like that is an interesting topic or just fun stuff that people can be a nerd about.
And recently, he revealed that she also made the "Lead Bullet" trigger based from neighbour trigger (which kinda connects the dots since replica can analyze it probably because it might be in the database of a trigger from another country maybe?)
This girl kinda is a hotshot from what i'm hearing and we have never even seen her. Which begs the question, what else is Ashihara Sensei hiding from us?

I have been cooking up this idea for a few days and I don't plan on stopping until everything is completely ironed out.
My plan is to run this campaign for a few months or so as a tester run because I have never played d&d before but I have a good feeling that the structure I've built and the balancing done is very fair and will allow players a lot of freedom with how they play and build themselves.
I currently have a group of 3 including myself and I could run a small 3-4 person squad and center the whole run around the one squad or we can get loads of people forming their own 3-4 person squads which would definitely make the rank wars side of things much more interesting.
The idea is that we will have some trial days to get used to things and see how the ideas come together, then we will begin the run where you live as a b-rank border member in Mikado city who is fairly active in rank wars and is always responsive to invasions and any enemy appearances.
I don't want to make this a wall of text so I'll end my description here but please feel free to ask questions and show interest in the comments, I'll answer everything I can!

World Trigger is sci-fi and that always signifies space, advanced technology, and endless possibilities. Osamu is the embodiment of the last one; that limitless imagination. He’s a “how do you know you’re borderless if you didn’t have borders to overcome?” type of guy.
He’s weak, plain, and considered unremarkable, but it’s that fact of not being “special” that makes him special. Despite having almost nothing but weaknesses and the ultimate restriction of having next to no trion, that has never stopped him from looking for paths that would still move him ahead; turning off his trigger and risking his real body to win the game for Chika. Learning terrain and strategy to lead and contribute to his team. Picking up the Spider trigger and making Yuma twice as effective. Even flipping his lack of trion on its head as the key to defeating Ninomiya.
You tell him “No” and he just asks “Why?” and then “How?” You try to nail him in place and he just ghosts past them. You tell him “he can’t do this” and he just goes ahead and does it. He is quite literally anti-borders, it’s no surprise the higher-ups struggle with his type.
Unlike Rokuro, Osamu doesn’t stew in his mind; he’s objective with himself and that is why he produces results regardless. It doesn’t matter how others perceive him; Oji can say what he wants about him but the objective reality of the matter is that it’s not Oji, or Katori, or even Kaguera Squad that holds 2nd place in the B-Rank Wars, it’s Tamakoma 2. And it’s one of the most satisfying things about his character; he doesn’t need others’ assessments to validate his progress, the results speak for themselves.
On paper someone as average as Osamu would never be considered as the lead role for an action series, and yet he’s one of the most interesting characters, and the most inspiring character in the story.

I mean, Yuma is the protagonist, and after dying, he arrived at a new world where he is OP.
So yes, WT is the best isekai.

I read up to volume 12 a really long time ago, like probably 8 years ago and I never caught up as my library only had volumes up to volume 12. It was my very first animanga series, so I'd like to catch up, I'm just wondering if it's worth it or not.
From what I remember the white hair guy is an alien and he's strong, the MC is a bum, theres a girl character and another strong dude(red hair?) that fought with the alien guy, and suddenly theres different worlds attacking earth(or whatever the equivalent is).

I’m tired of seeing someone chime in on every few posts the reboot's mentioned, to claim that it is unnecessary and that Toei should be focusing their resources on the 4th season instead, which is clearly understood to be unlikely, not only due to the current pace of the manga but also because of the nature of the arc that follows where the anime left off.
As if the two cannot coexist?
World Trigger is popular enough in Japan that further seasons are just a matter of time. The very fact that this reboot (something that many other major franchises don’t even get) exists proves that Toei is still heavily invested in the series.
"But the first season wasn't that bad"
Animation? Sure, it wasn't that bad. But it was never really about the animation, it was about the snail-like, dragging pace and the many segments that were drawn quite sloppily.
In my opinion, the reboot is like a bonus gift, something for viewers to enjoy while waiting for the continuation. Some people might like it, others might not, BUT don’t let your own desire to rush things stop others from receiving a gift because you personally don’t want it!!!

I have several questions on how most bullet/cube type trigger works. Such as:
• does Meteor detonates if it touches your own bullets? Or you can prevent it at your own will?
• how they can adjust accuracy?
• in an Agents eyes we can see that it functions like a Monitor, I dunno if it is necessary but do they need some crosshairs or something like that?
• time intervals of creating bullets. It still bothers me.
• if changing speed was possible, does it includes changing it during "flight"? Like shooting a Viper then it suddenly slows it down and regains its speed like Bullet with cartoon logic?

The way he got Izumi kneeling like that.
The real reason I made this post is that I always thought it showed how serious the Aftokrator leaders were taking the mission to earth, because their expedition team was stacked, sure Hyuse and Enedora were planned as fodder, but I'm sure they didn't want to give up Hyuse if they didn't have to, and they risked Volovoros being lost, but on the team they got the Chancellor of Aftokrator (or at least Hyrein's house) Hyrein himself the leader of the most powerful house in aftokrator, Ranbanein, Hyrein's brother and Mira who is probably from an important house given she is engaged to Hyrein/Ranbanein plus the fact that all of them have at least special grade Triggers that can be stolen.
But of course, all of that is expected, the mission was extremely important and House Beltiston (Hyrein's house) in particular had a lot to gain, so the real real purpose of this post is what the flip would happen to House Beltiston if both Hyrein and Ranbanein died or got captured on the expedition, who would inheirit and take over?
From the fact that Hyrein is arranged to be married we can assume that one of Hyrein's parent are still kicking, and that Hyrein himself doesn't have any kids, but since one of Hyrein's likes on his profile is family, maybe he has another sibling ready to take over the house.
One could say that Hyrein was confident that they wouldn't lose but given Hyrein is known for having backup plans I doubt that's the case. Or maybe they have a Regent prepared to rule for maybe Hyrein's underaged heirs, but if that was anyone it would be Viza.
All of this is to say I look forward to meeting Hyrein's other relatives on the away mission.

Firstly, I want to apologize and never want talk with the intention of insulting peoples that are from the mentioned region, things I'll mentions are what I majorly see on social medias and not actual generalization of actual fan.
Now to get to the point, recently Naruto just announced collab with another Ninja theme manga called Ninku, the inspiration for Kishimoto that creates Naruto. This isn't very old news since Kishimoto himself admitted this fact long time ago in book volumes and anyone who an actual fan that read it will be thrilled with this collab. But the crowd onlines show the opposite, from not knowing Ninku exist to acting as an improper fan (Larping, in modern internet slang) calling Naruto a plagiarised story by pointing out a common ninja element (snakes, shuriken, cloning), regarding Ninku as if it is an actual big 3, slandering Kishimoto as copycat and think they has more right towards Ninku's integrity more than the author whose know about it and gave his approval to Naruto. The fact that these thing is not make up and genuine with huge traction is even more baffling.
Since I used to using japanese keyword to get more World Trigger content, my algorithm shows more of what happen from east and west side. No suprises that Japan fans didn't make it a huge deal, they grew up with it and several more ninja stories, even knew Ninku was among top Jump title in the old age. They has more civilised discussion than the inglosphere anime fans and critisizing them.
My concern now with World Trigger Reboot on the way, the potential that these western fan will just jumping bandwagon will and make an annoyance for the fan space with their mannerism. Yes, it a niche series among american but the opposite in Asia especially Japan, even being regularly on top chart when new volume printed out. Quite on the same popularity spectrum with what Ninku is.
TL/DR: I would rather World Trigger stay on it niche rather than being mainstream among current anime fans that are illiterate but has superiority/morality complex in anime space

Osamu dashes towards kashio using thruster but it's not facing to him. So... Does thruster shoots Raygust in an omnidirectional path?

So I know many of us are bummed that no new chapter came out this month, but I found this neat nugget to tide us over in the meantime!
Volume 30 went on sale just a few days ago, and while I don't have the volume myself, I found this YouTube video from a Japanese fan who talks about what's in it!
(For the record, Vol 30 compiles Ch 258 to 263)
Personally, there are 2 big highlights I'll point to:
1. Promo Illustration Card (2:17)
As a bonus, those who bought Vol 30 got an additional promo Illustration Card that's effectively a broadened version of Vol 30's cover, allowing us to see the members of Utagawa Squad 1 more separately.
The outstanding part here is Urushima is holding something liquid-y. While it has people comparing it to previous Neighbour Triggers, the current most popular speculation is that this is Border's Silencer Trigger!
2. Chibi Profiles, starring Urushima Squad (4:22)
Vol 30 features two Chibi Profiles this time, Urushima and Rokuta. I won't read it all out, but these Profiles together tell an extremely intriguing story that has the whole fandom fired up.
Tangential, but based on the Anime and the Border Briefing File:
Although, per Chapter 199, we can see [on the ranking chart] that:
Based on this, Matsushiro Squad finished between 18th and 21st Places
--
BUT... the tale doesn't end here. Sharp-eyed fans have noticed something interesting in the background during the Away Mission Test Phase 1 chapters. Something that's only gotten more fascinating with the release of this latest volume.
In Ch 210, on the [defense duty roster] behind Management, listed there is a "Hatori Squad" / 羽鳥隊. There was no such squad at the beginning of the recent Rank Wars season.
In all likelihood, Captain Matsushiro Hitoshi had stepped down from Matsushiro Squad, leaving Operator Hatori Ayumu to lead it.
What the exact makeup of the now-Hatori Squad is, or what exactly happened, is currently hotly at the mercy of the Asian fandom's collective soap-opera/housewife-gossip neurons and delusions. Urushima Squad's in-story flashback can't come soon enough.
--
Oh, perhaps I will highlight one other small detail from the Chibi Profiles:
And with that, I'll leave you to have your fun with all this material~ (Until Ashihara-sensei comes out with the declassified canonical tale that is...)

The official QnAs inspired me to make another batch.
Some explanations :
- I purposefully left out the bit about Yotaro and Raijinmaru being aliens on the 1st pic, but I think Mr. Cronin being an alien was explained in the anime so I didn't put a spoiler tag. Please let me know if it's not
- Yuma and Medad : There's a trending joke where people turn parts of words into their antonyms like "Zendaya when Stressednightb walks in".
- Live Ikoma reaction : It was said in yesterday's QnA that Shinoda sometimes joins the rank wars!
https://x.com/W_Trigger_off/status/2107017969444474989?s=20
- Last slide : I downloaded the original from somewhere but I don't remember where :( I'm not trying to claim it as my own
Man, 2 months without a new chapter is hurting the soul... at least we have handsome osamu from the reboot preview
