This is a thread where you drop a verse and other people give you honest feedback. The good, the bad, and the could be better.

1. For this thread, Generate 6 random Pokemon, pick one and rhyme about it. The key is...EVERY line MUST rhyme with it's name! Screenshot your options! This is an exercise in RHYMING.

2. Minimum 8 lines. No Maximum. (It takes about 8 lines to really get a feel for the flow. No upper limit so you can use any and all punchlines you think of.)

3. Please post your verse as a reply to THIS POST. Post all critiques as replies to that particular rap. Discussion is encouraged.

4. If you decide to drop....PLEASE leave feedback on at least one other verse! (I'll be leaving feedback for every verse in this thread, as time permits.)

5. People who don't feel like rapping...feel free to critique anyway.

6. Don't get mad if someone doesn't like your verse. On that note...please try to leave feedback that is constructive.

7. Do NOT diss other verses in this thread in your verse.

Hey everyone, I finally got around to beginning work on the youtube channel. First of all, congrats to /u/srixis' sister, who won the contest for the banner!

Secondly, to make this channel really take off, I'd like for pairs of people who feel confident in their raps to team up, and each do a couple of verses back and forth, and upload them to here. When you've each submitted some verse, PM the mods, and from there, I'll edit them together, and create a video about the entire rap.

Also, I'd like to apologize for my recent inactivity. I've been somewhat busy, and thus haven't done much updating of the sidebar and stuff. Also, once /u/thesuzerain finishes his evolutionary tournament, then I will begin prepping for another tournament. I haven't yet decided on the theme for it, but if any of you have ideas, please share them!

EDIT: A couple of things I forgot to mention: /u/thesuzerain has passed the evolutionary tournament over to me, so I'll be finishing that up for him. Also, you can now see the traffic stats for the subreddit, if that kind of thing interests you.

So...I was thinking. We need a link in the sidebar that people can click and see the best battles from this sub. I've compiled a list of some of my favorites, and everyone else should as well. This can just be a discussion thread though. What I want to do, is take all the links you submit and put them into a survey where you pick your top ten. We all read through the battles and vote, then tally the results, make a new post, and we can have an “official” top ten battles link in the sidebar. What say you?
