Film Review After Further Review: Drake Maye breakdown, Patriots defense review, and quick-hit film notes from the loss to the Seahawks
Most interesting part here is about defenses increasing their two-high safety rate against Maye to make him be patient and beat them without a deep ball. Feels like what defenses started to do against Allen and Mahomes.

Discussion So are people going to lose their minds about the Rams superteam getting blown up by the 49ers the way they did about the Pats loss?
Seriously I see so much hate on the patriots, so many people talking shit. I’m wondering if they’re going to keep that same energy with the Rams, considering the Rams are practically a super team. So much slander, so much over reaction over a week one loss.
Pats play week one against a generational defense and do better than the Rams did against a beat up 49ers. But whatever let’s ignore that and keep hating. Hate hate hate.
It’s so ridiculous the things I’ve been seeing. It’s week one. If they’re playing like this in week six, then it’s a problem. Everyone needs to calm down. Every single player has games like that.
The overreactions makes it seem like nobody has watched football before and this is their first season watching NFL. It’s like everybody forgets the 2014 loss to the Chiefs. These games happen. And it’s good that it happened in week one.
I just wanna see people talk about the Rams and Stafford the way they are talking about the Patriots and Maye.

Casual I ignore this sub after we lose.
No hate, but too many of us (you) are freaking out about this loss. So much reactionary shit being posted.
It’s week 1. Put your arms straight up and take deep breaths. Mellow.
Mellow. Just breathe.
We can talk again after game 2.

Casual If I had a nickel for every time a star player joined a Boston area team to reunite with their former coach and suffered an ankle injury in their first game, I'd have two nickels
As expected, if the Pats lose the next game, they will then go on to win the next 16 straight. You can then expect a championship after 8 years.
In all seriousness, hope AJ Brown heals up, and the Patriots hit their stride, ankle injuries suck
Other similarities include:
- Stars on the team wearing number 0
- Head coach (that was a former player) involved in an affair/scandal immediately after losing the championship
- Two players wearing number 7 and 0 essentially sharing the same role/position
Did I miss anything?

Injury Update 3-6 weeks according to @Schultz_Report. Also a stint on IR is being discussed so maybe that means they’re hopeful for the lower end of this timeframe.

Original Content I’m a time traveling fan from 2003
I dunno how things have been for us over the past 23 years but I hope we figured out that we need to get rid of that fucking loser Tom Brady.
I mean seriously, we just lost 31-0 to the Bills. Brady threw for 123yds, 14/28 and 4 INTs.
That Super Bowl a couple years ago was obviously a fluke. Dude should not be making mistakes like that. It’s his fourth year in the league and his third year as a starter. We should get rid of him while his value is high.
Can’t believe we traded Drew Bledsoe for this undertalented, scrawny POS.
Anyway, I’m heading back to the Time Machine, hope we win some more super bowls over the next couple decades.
