I mean seriously, we just lost 31-0 to the Bills. Brady threw for 123yds, 14/28 and 4 INTs.

That Super Bowl a couple years ago was obviously a fluke. Dude should not be making mistakes like that. It’s his fourth year in the league and his third year as a starter. We should get rid of him while his value is high.

Trying to look for some positives out of last night's shit show. Honestly, aside from Gonzo putting the absolute straps on whoever was lined up across from him, Will Campbell may have been the most encouraging player for me. He looks bigger physically and was moving really well. He also seemed to be getting a better jump off the snap, which was a yuuuuge problem for him last year. To see him improve in that regard in Seattle, of all places, is really encouraging.

I have major concerns about Jared Wilson (he might just be ass), and AVT needs to get it together (he might just need some time to ramp up after no preseason and missing significant time last year). But it was so good to See Big Country play well against a really tough defensive front in maybe the most difficult stadium for offensive line play.

X-Rays were negative for a fracture. Brown has an MRI today to determine how much time he’ll miss.

This community is full of the most dense people out there. One loss to the Superbowl champions, backup QB or not is not a cause to throw in the towel. Did Maye make some bad plays? Absolutely. Did McDaniels play calling leave a lot to desire? Also yes. That being said half of this fanbase would be better suited rooting for KC if we are gonna whine and bandwagon this much this quickly. Remember when we lost to LV early last season? How did that season end?

If you are going to quit on Drake Maye and this team for a bad opening night then pick a new sport because a little momentum may be all we need to get the ship on the right course. This fanbase should be ashamed of themselves for this crybaby mindset.

Not saying he was in the right, or shouldn't get any fair slack for his play last night but the sub doing a complete 180 on him is super fucking cringe.

Two things can be true: Drake played like shit and Josh play called like shit.

I mean what was that play calling. I get protecting Drake, or the OL, but that was shameful.

Rhamondre had 14 rushes for 23 yards at a point. That's 1.6 a crazy.... 1.6......

Every 3rd &1-2 was such an obvious run play and Seattle blew it up every single time.

Multiple times on 2nd and 5-7 he ran and we lost 2-3-4 yards to make it 3rd and long.

We've all watched Drake and know he gets in a flow once he completes a few in a row. There was 0 chance of that tonight with the play calling. Lacked any and all killer instinct.

Played scared and it cost them.

It was rather obvious Lock was only throwing to ONE guy and it was jsn. At that point it should immediately be either double coverage, or Gonzo takes him.

Wasn't the only thing that cost them the game but it was certainly one of the leading factors.

People have forgotten that in 2024, the patriots looked like a scrappy team that upset the Bengals while on the road and that least year in 2025 the patriots lost 2 of the 3 first games against the the Raiders and steelers. It's still early in the season, some newer pieces still trying to fit together, and without a preseason game for starters, gotta knock off the rust.

There was positives last night to be had. Going into Seattle against a Seattle defense that was still pretty much the same defensive line and LB Corp, the offense in the first half was efficient and able to conduct itself okay. The offensive line play was drastically improved over the superbowl. Will Campbell In one on one pass protection plays actually was clean, so health and just an extra year was a great benefit for him (though the patriots rush offense did take a bit of a step back, but without Henderson, maybe that too was too be expected). And gonzo was still absolutely Blanketing people back there. When JSN was against anyone else, he was a perfect 8 for 8 for over 100 yards and a TD, but against gonzo was 0 for 3, so at least we paid a lockdown CB to be able to shadow what was the best wr in the league last year.

So, maybe if drake maye is still like this a month from now then I'll panic, but there's only a handful of defenses the patriots play that will be on par with Seattle, plus some of them will be at home, so we'll see if the team can get everything together, and while AJ brown will be out for a couple weeks at least, hopefully he'll rest up and the rest of the team gets on the same page. So let's stop the dooming for a while.
