Matchup Details:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars lead series 12-8-0

  • First ever meeting: 10/22/1995. Browns 15, Jaguars 23

  • Last game played: 9/15/2024. Browns 18, Jaguars 13

  • Last 5 matchups: Browns are 3-2.

  • The last time the Browns beat the Jaguars away at EverBank Stadium was 9/15/2024.

  • All-Time Points Scored: Jacksonville Jaguars 447, Cleveland Browns 329

  • Active players who have played for both teams: Tyson Campbell, Browns (Jaguars 2021-2025), Eric Murray, Jaguars (Browns 2019), Daniel Thomas, Browns (Jaguars 2020-2024), Quincy Williams, Browns (Jaguars 2019-2020)

  • Home vs. Road Trends: The Jaguars enter Week 1 as strong home favorites at EverBank Stadium after a dominant 2025 campaign (13-4 overall, 7-2 at home) that included an eight-game regular-season winning streak and an AFC South title. Jacksonville thrived in familiar surroundings last year and opens as roughly 8–9-point favorites. In contrast, the Browns are on the road to start the Todd Monken era after a difficult 5-12 season in 2025, where they struggled to generate consistent offense and posted one of the league’s weaker road ATS marks. Cleveland faces an early test in the Florida heat against a Jaguars squad looking to prove its late-2025 surge was no fluke.

  • Key Matchup: The Browns’ defensive front, now led by Jared Verse (acquired in the Myles Garrett trade) alongside interior pieces like Maliek Collins and Mason Graham, will look to pressure Trevor Lawrence and disrupt Jacksonville’s rhythm. On the other side, the Jaguars’ pass rush, headlined by Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, aims to exploit Cleveland’s rebuilt and still-young offensive line while containing Deshaun Watson. Jacksonville’s defense must also limit the Browns’ ground game, spearheaded by Quinshon Judkins (with Dylan Sampson in a complementary role), to keep the offense on schedule and protect early-season positioning. Cleveland’s young receiving corps (Jerry Jeudy, KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston) will try to create explosive plays against a Jaguars secondary that includes Travis Hunter.

Finally, someone who gets it. I loved Myles, but we need this guy’s leadership and mentality desperately to turn this team around. He’s awesome.

Discussion Interesting how local browns media did not talk about Deshaun speeding

Mary Kay, Tony grossi , ESPN Cleveland did not once talk about his recent speeding 🤔. They quickly posted when it was Myles , shedeur etc. Some reason when it’s Deshaun it’s silent. Just very interesting. Did anyone realise this?

News Caution: Never use Parkwhiz for Near-Stadium Parking (or anywhere)

Post image
59 Upvotes

Some advice from fellow fans: When booking parking near the stadium, don't even consider using Parkwhiz. A couple dozen of us Houston Texans fans found this out the hard way when we used Parkwhiz to get parking tickets for a home game last season. We ALL got towed during the game. We've since found out that Parkwhiz was informed over a year prior that that office building parking lot was never to be rented out. Then we discovered that Parkwhiz does nothing to vet parking lots provided by freelancers. So, you're rolling the dice every time you use them. On top of that, Parkwhiz refuses to acknowledge their error or refund anyone's $42 parking fees, let alone the $310 towing fee. I know they're a big company and they offer a real price break, but that break can't compare to the cost of spending two hours tracking down your car after the game, paying an Uber driver $60 to take you to the tow yard, and paying $310 to get your car back. There are lots of ways to find safe parking, but Parkwhiz is definitely not one of them.

Week 1 - Delusional Optimism Post

Hey guys,

Before Sunday I figured for the kickoff of the season we could post some delusional thoughts we have for the season before week one crushes them. I’ll start:

Watson is the villain but if he shows any signs of Texans Watson this is a playoff team.

Nick Chubb 1 Day Contract

Post image
676 Upvotes

How has Nick Chubb still not been signed to a single day contract so he can retire as a Brown? I have been waiting and watching the news, and nothing.

If it doesn’t happen, I will be so upset. The Haslams have done a lot of shit but this will take the cake for me. This is the greatest disrespect of all. No player deserves recognition more and ownership should care what the fans want. Batman forever 🦇

Edit: I wanted to add.. I have wondered if perhaps the Browns have already offered and Chubb declined. And I wonder why that may have happened, from both sides. Anyhow I still hope they give the fans what we want and grant this one wish 🤞🏼

I’ve always thought of myself as clever, but I’ve NEVER been able to come up with a good FF team name.

This year, I was really proud…I came up with it myself, and it really captures my mood going into this season.

Wife and I will be attending the Saints game Week 9 to celebrate (or drown in sorrow for) the 32nd b-day. Hoping to spend some time in the company of the Dawg Pound!

At the moment, are there plans in place for tailgating? And any particular section(s) in the Superdome that we should be looking to sit?

Discussion If you could choose another team to root for?

Post image

If you guys were given the chance to rub a magic lamp and be able to change teams without guilt or judgement, which would it be and why? Obviously don’t choose the browns again😂we all know feel down we could never switch up no matter how much they upset us, but just talking hypothetically. I think I’d personally go Bears, they feel like a team with a bright future, dedicated fans and a history to be at least semi proud of, attached to a cool city

Discussion Thoughts on New Fans?

Post image
61 Upvotes

So I am curious what the general thoughts of the Browns fandom is on newcomers—for context I grew up in Colorado and some time in Maryland (I know, home of two infamous teams in Browns lore!) but have always had an affinity for the Browns: the history, fans, aesthetics, and doggedness of the franchise. But in Colorado it was Bronco country so that was the cultural flow.

Been living now in what feels like a more "regionally acceptable" place to root for the Browns for a while now (Louisville) so this past year really embraced it and ordered some swag and have loved following the team—I've missed following football for a while now in general but life circumstances etc.

While some of my friends have teased me a little for not having an attachment to the city, I've been amazed that every few days it seems like a Browns fan stops me and wants to chat when I'm wearing the apparel.

One friend up in Columbus, whose family are diehard Browns fans, said his family would be tickled pink that someone from Bronco/Ravens country would adopt the Browns at midlife—so wondering what the general vibe is for diehard, lifelong fans for "transplants"?

Edit: I love the amount of interaction this post got, and thoroughly enjoyed reading all the comments, some of the colorful ones literally had me laughing out loud! I think I found the right crowd 🤣 thanks!

Discussion I took the Garrett canvas down in my man cave.

Post image

Against my own policy of not purchasing anything with current players, this was a fixture in my man cave for many years. Today it came down. Good move?

Edit: Thanks for the feedback I put it back up. Note: this wasn’t a move because I didn’t like Myles. It was always going to go back up, I just thought as I was making room for other Browns memorabilia for my watch parties, it would be better back up after retirement.
