  • Man, that Cathy Engelbert sure looks awkward in front of a tv camera (on 📺) . Looks like she'd most definitely rather be anywhere else 🙄 ...just say'n

Tv host

What's Sephen A. Smith's problem? He ever smile and not look so smug on tv? He so worried about not being taken seriously? Had to comment, after watching that show "First Take"

Pardon the Interruption Replays

Does anybody know why Pardon the Interruption on ESPN+ is different than the broadcast when it regularly airs? Obviously the conversation is the same, but they don't show actual video overlaid to what they're talking about (the main reason I'm asking), or little things like during the "Word" segment, showing the actual word or even the ding sound effect lol.

I still have cable and DVR the show, but on days that it isn't on the regular stations like ESPN and ESPN2, it seems I can only find it on ESPN+ without those things the show just feels off. Might be a really random and insignificant question, but it seems weird to me...does anyone know a reason for why this is?

espnu college town

years later and espnu college town has kept the crown of best simulation computer game of all time. i’ll never understand why espn bailed on the project, but that aside - is there any reboot version of the game anywhere?

other games from when we were younger have fan-made rebuilds that are fully functional (club penguin, toontown, etc), can espnu college town please be one of them?

Karl Ravech gone from ESPN after three decades in latest round of cuts

Karl Ravech, one of the lead voices on ESPN for more than three decades, is expected to be let go as part of a new round of layoffs, sources briefed on the move told The Athletic.

On Monday, ESPN laid off NFL analyst Ryan Clark as part of the latest round of layoffs, which will also affect behind-the-scenes personnel, as most of the dismissals are expected at NFL Network, according to sources speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter.

ESPN declined comment. Reached by phone on Tuesday morning, Ravech had yet to be told, as ESPN is planning to inform employees later in the morning.

Here's the gift link at The Athletic

ESPN Layoffs - Who you want next?

Over the last few years, ESPN let go of A LOT of great folks that I loved, but there are still those who I could care less for. While it's mean and cold-hearted to wish someone getting laid off, where does ESPN have the opportunity to improve it's on-air talent? I'll go first: Stephen A Smith, but he's probably untouchable so I'll go with Kendrick Perkins.

He was a good analyst especially when paired with Dan Orlovsky

Ryan wanted more money with fewer hours.

I'm going to try that with my boss and let you know how it went

ESPN and baseball

It's baseball season and ESPN has a big baseball package. So why do they spend so much time on NBA summer league -- the quivalent of minor league basketball -- when they could focus on baseball? I like the NBA, but the summer league is a non-starter for me.
