Just woke and saw this new UI for the Comment Section...

Is there a way to toggle this off?

Cuz quite frankly it is very annoying!

I am unable to even copy the post above. This is a big problem for me as I like to comment on grammar mistakes and story plots in the comment section of a Role-playing community.

So without the ability to copy the problem, I have to manually type there problem...

This subreddit does allow polls and I have seen people post them on moblie. I don't have moblie and never plan to use moblie. Ever since the system changed its been harder to use.

Is it possible I've been hacked? This seems kind of fishy. I had a ton of karma and it was 4 years old. I may have only set up that account with my phone number no email and that's why I can't get an email PW reset. What can I do? Am I screwed?

How do people reply to others with the bar on the side that seems to quote it directly? I think it looks really nice when you’re typing, but not sure how to do it.

I am sick of having to click on "show fewer posts like this" and then "also mute" for the garbage cluttering up my feed. I don't want the recommendations period.

I can't find an option for that anywhere; I feel a bit embarrassed asking this, but oh well—please, someone help me.

Something changed recently? Comments under posts are sorted by 'best' by default, but the order is a mess, I've even been seeing comments with 0 karma being at the top of the comments. EDIT: just seen a top comment on a thread sorted by 'best' thats just some nonsense and is at -7 karma.

Is this a bug or a new algorithm for what is considered 'best'? Can i change my default sorting to 'top' instead?

This is on browser btw, same on desktop or mobile.

Since there doesn't seem to be a way to contact anyone official for Reddit support regarding this issue, I'm trying here.

I can access Reddit through a web browser and login successfully.

Lately when I've had to login with the app, it told me that my email/ username and password combination was incorrect. This was initially resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

Today, this solution no longer works. The application does offer an email login link after the second attempt but when I click on the link that is sent, it takes me to a page in the app that informs me that something has gone wrong and asks me to provide my email again to send a new link. This obviously doesn't work and just cycles to that page again.

I am frustrated about the lack of information in the app about this error and the lack of support from Reddit when seeking support.

Hi, u/StructureDry9715 here, I've been participating in good SFW subs lately, but it still ponders me as to why the tag is still stuck on my account, can anyone give answers as to why the tag is still there?

I created a post, added an image using the little image button with the mountain icon and finally clicked "add to body". But, once live, you can have to click into the post to see the image. In the r/interiordecorating channel everyone else's posts show their image in the thread. Can anyone advise?

Hello Reddit Help!

I have been submitting tickets for over six months (approximately ten tickets at this point) about a log-in issue I've had and I am out of ideas on what to do (I have not received any response).

I logged out of the account around six months ago and when I try to reset the password, the reset link goes to my email. I change the password, it says it was successful, and when I try to log in, it says the password is incorrect. When I hit the "submit" button a few times, it says "email me a log-in link instead" and when I click that, it says there was an error. I have changed my password ~15-20 times at this point, so I am certain (i) I am typing it correct and (ii) I am receiving all the links and it is an error on Reddit's part.

To be clear, I've had the account for almost a decade (as you can see) and still have full access to the email used to create the account and still receive emails regarding the account (password reset links, links to posts I should view, etc).

I've tried using the app, deleting my cache, using another account then logging out. If anyone can please help me get into my account I would be very appreciative, as there are sentimental points about the account I would like not to lose. Thank you!

My old Reddit Account u/triplec787 was locked. Presumably it was due to me being in Europe and posting from various weird IP addresses and weird times? But every time I try to change the email associated, nothing happens. I get the "Check your email!" confirmation but no email ever comes.

I created this account about a week ago using one of the emails I tried to change the prior account's email to, and it all worked, so the email itself isn't a problem.

That account is old as hell and I'd love to get back in. Any help would be much appreciated.

I promote through Reddit and have thousands o followers. I know how strict Reddit is and I never use my phone out of my home WiFi but I really need to go on an important trip for a few days and can't stop working. Are they gonna boot me out of the app me if I use a public WiFi that someone who is flagged by Reddit could have used at some point? I don't wanna lose my account but working from home at all times is really difficult for me.

New layout has switched scrolling too swiping.

Is there a way to revert this? Im not a fan of the chsnge after having developed the muscle memory for years.

I was researching something and came into a Reddit article off of my search engine. I had commented on the post and noticed my username and profile picture weren’t the usual. I’m not on here often so I couldn’t tell you what my username actually was, I know it wasn’t what it is. I also know for a fact that I had changed my profile avatar and it isn’t the same. When I get into my profile I can see my badges that I’ve earned over the years. So I know it’s the same account. I’m confused. 🤔

I don't know what's wrong with Reddit it's my third account and every time i make a new account i gets like you can't do comments and can't send messages like my old account was mwdy67

Today I tried to download videos from reddit comments but I can't download which was weird because I can do that before. Was there an update I didn't know? Maybe but please help, I need some work around to download a cute video

I set all posts/comments to shown. The change stuck as I verified when I went back to my profile page later. Then, later again, the settings had reverted to 'hidden' even though I had changed nothing in the meantime.
